Season Reward: 9 Loot Chests

In the just concluded season, I received a reward of 9 Loot Chests for my performance in battles for the season.

I finished in the Bronze I tier with a rating of above 700.

The 9 Loot Chests consist of a Pelacor Mercenary Card, a total of 17 credits, a total of 2 Alchemy Portion Charges and a total of 3 Legendary Portion Charges.

I still don't know what credits are used for. I won't mind if anybody can explain to me.
