Lessons from the mass inductrination day 5 held on the 14th November 2021 via zoom
It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.
1 Corinthians 7:3-5 KJV
Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. [4] The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. [5] Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
As couple, you are no longer two but one flesh.
A man has no power over his body but the wife and a woman has no power over her body but the husband.
Couples can devote themself to fasting and prayer by abstaining from sex. If they agree to do so. During prayer and fasting, couples should stay away from sex.
When fasting, we should also give to those that are hungry and the poor. We must also free the oppressed, forgive those that offend us and so on.
We should not be like the hypocrite when we fast. They broadcast it to the world so all we know that they are fasting.
Hebrews 13:4 KJV
Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
The body of the woman should be for her husband alone.
