Lessons from the mass inductrination day 11 held on the 20th September 2021 via zoom

It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.

1 Corinthians 10:21 KJV
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

You cannot partake on the Lord's table and of the table of devils.

Philemon 1:21 KJV
Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

Isaiah 1:19 KJV
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

God's rewards are good for those that obey His commands.

Numbers 30:2 KJV
If a man vow a vow unto the Lord , or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

A vow is done voluntarily.
Once you make a vow, you are bound by the vow.

Acts 18:18 KJV
And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Ecclesiastes 5:4-5 KJV
When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. [5] Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

To vow is to bound oneself to doing good.

2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give ; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

In the church concerning contribution, you will give according to your heart.

Mark 12:41 KJV
And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.

Philippians 4:15-17 KJV
Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. [16] For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. [17] Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

The early Christians also send assistance voluntarily.
In the true church, there is no fixed price.

Thanksgiving, praises, doing good and contributing voluntarily are ways to offer sacrifice of praise.

Thanks for Dropping By !

Best regards
