Estoy viendo la materia materno infantil así que hoy fuimos a sala de parto del hospital de mi ciudad de Cumaná, estábamos muy nerviosas que era nuestra primera práctica.

I am taking the maternal and child subject so today we went to the delivery room of the hospital in my city of Cumaná, we were very nervous because it was our first practice.

Estuvimos acompañadas de personal capacitado que nos explicaron todo lo que debíamos hacer, tuvimos la oportunidad de ver un parto, fué muy impresionante y a la vez emocionante.

We were accompanied by trained personnel who explained everything we had to do, we had the opportunity to see a birth, it was very impressive and exciting at the same time.

Nos enseñaron como aplicar medicamentos y nos dijeron que cada semana teníamos que asistir, vamos poco a poco aprendiendo cada día más de ésta linda profesión.

They taught us how to apply medications and told us that we had to attend every week, we are slowly learning more and more about this beautiful profession.

Las enfermeras son las que se encargan del cuidado y trato directo con el paciente, debemos tener mucha empatía ya que ellos están pasando por una situación difícil así que debemos darle ánimos.

Nurses are the ones who are in charge of the care and direct treatment with the patient, we must have a lot of empathy since they are going through a difficult situation so we must encourage them.

Les tenemos que brindar una buena atención de salud para que el enfermo cumpla su tratamiento y mejore que es lo que se quiere.
