I hope you are well, in today's post I wanted to talk about the latest release of Call Of Duty which if I'm not mistaken I think it's video game number 18, which is pretty impressive for being one of the most profitable sagas in the FPS genre.

But I don't want to talk about the graphics, although I have to admit that they are extremely realistic thanks to the fact that this release is based on the IW engine which is something distinctive of COD games, a realistic and very advanced graphic engine.

And although I will not focus on the gameplay, I would like to comment briefly that this Vanguard has elements that make it different as climbing walls or some parkour mode in some missions, as well as fights in fighter planes, which is extremely cool.

But what I want to highlight about this installment and what stands out from all the previous ones, is that it has a natural story that is very appealing to the player, since, although in previous COD installments there was a story mode, it was not good enough to give it a broader meaning than just killing enemies.

In fact, if you're like me and you don't like to wait for all the COD cinematics, I confess that with this game I couldn't stop watching it, since it grabs you from the very beginning.

The story of this COD focuses more on the personality and experiences of the combatants before, during and after the conflict. In addition, they are characters based on real life, based on combatants who really existed, so that is another point in favor of the history of this COD, since knowing it makes you want to keep playing regardless of the difficulty.

The story of this installment is set towards the end of World War II and covers different fronts of the allied troops, for example, we have the red front where the Russians fight against the Nazis, this Africa where the Australians also fight against the Nazis, there is also the front of Japan where American soldiers fight against the Japanese empire.

And the main mission is to discover and stop the Nazi plans of the Phoenix project, which according to the plot seeks to change the course of the war and give a great advantage to the Nazis over their enemies, since as we know by the year 1944 and 1945 the Nazis were losing ground everywhere.

The main characters of the plot are:

Arthur Kingsley British paratrooper sergeant who is the leader of the team.

Polina Petrova the deadliest sniper in the Red Army.

Wade Jackson the most daring pilot with a strange sense of humor.

Lucas Riggs the rebellious Australian soldier, but a key player in the squadron.

And the main villain is the head of the Phoenix project the Nazi Hermann Wenzel Freisinger.

The stories of each character are interesting because they bring a lot of value to the game, for example, Arthur Kingsley is one of the first black soldiers to achieve great ranks in the army, he has to fight against all the prejudices that make him which earns him the hatred of other racist soldiers and even the Nazi, who consider him inferior or as someone who should not give orders. But throughout the game his role as a leader and as one of the best soldiers in the squad is clear.

Polina Petrova has to fight against the stereotypes that women are inferior in combat, since being the best sniper makes it very clear that she is not afraid of any challenge, she also has to fight against the feelings of losing everything in the war, since her father and brother die in the hands of the Germans. Also being the lady nightingale, she is consecrated as the most lethal fighter of the Red Army which gives hope to the Russians in their fight against the Nazis.

Wade Jackson is a created guy who by flying a plane and destroying many enemy ships thinks he is better than everyone, but an accident in the middle of the enemy front leaves him on the ground where he learns that teamwork is important and that the soldiers fighting on the ground are also valuable pieces of the allied advance in the war, all this teaches him to value his comrades.

Lucas Riggs is a soldier who questions all the decisions of the high commands because according to his experience he considers them useless and meaningless in real combat, he also has to face the death of his comrades in Africa due to bad decisions of a soldier with higher rank who did not know how to lead the platoon and they fell in front of the Nazi.

So all these soldiers with different stories behind, unite in a mission to stop one of the last moves of the Nazi to win the war. All their experiences, combats and tactics make it clear why they have been chosen to carry out the mission to stop Freisinger.

Something that disappoints me a lot in this installment is that the main villain is not Jannick Richter, since in my opinion he achieves a better connection with the player, besides he is not the typical stereotype of villain without a defined purpose, even in a scene where he murders in cold blood a friend of cold Kingsley you can see that he is more villainous than Freisinger who almost does not appear in the scene. And when Freisinger tells Richter that Hitler committed suicide he turns his character around and takes a backseat, which is very disappointing to me as they would have done much more with that character.

In conclusion, Call Of Duty Vanguard is more than just a simple bps WWII shooter, it's a game with a life of its own that shows you what real characters could have lived through in their fight against the Nazis. In addition, its story is so full of details that make you live it as if you were there, and I know that, although it sounds exaggerated for some this is the best installment of COD as they combine the characteristic combat of COD along with a story full of meaning and emotions.

Hola a todos.

Espero que estén bien, en la publicación de hoy quería hablar sobre el último lanzamiento de Call Of Duty que si no me equivoco creo que es el videojuego número 18, lo cual es bastante impresionante por ser una de las sagas más rentables del género FPS.

Pero no quiero hablar de los gráficos, aunque si tengo que admitir que son extremadamente realistas gracias a que esta entrega está basada en el motor grafico IW engine que es algo distintivo de los juegos COD, un motor grafico realista y muy avanzado.

Y aunque tampoco me enfocare en la jugabilidad, si me gustaría comentar brevemente que este Vanguard tiene elementos que lo hacen distinto como escalar muros o algo de modo parkour en algunas misiones, así como peleas en aviones de combate, lo cual es sumamente genial.

Pero lo que yo quiero destacar de esta entrega y que sobresale de todas las anteriores, es que tiene una historia natural que resulta muy atrayente para el jugador, ya que, aunque en entregas de COD anteriores había un modo historia, no era lo suficientemente bueno como para darle un sentido más amplio que solo matar enemigos.

De hecho, si eres como yo y no te gusta para nada esperar completamente todas las cinemáticas de los COD, te confieso que con la de este juego no pude dejar de verla, ya que desde el mismo principio te atrapa muy bien.

Y es que la historia de este COD se enfoca más en la personalidad y las vivencias de los combatientes antes, durante y luego del conflicto. Además, son personajes basados en la vida real, basados en combatientes que existieron realmente, así que ese es otro punto a favor de la historia de este COD, ya que al conocerla te dan más ganas de seguir jugando sin importar la dificultad.

La Historia de esta entrega se ubica hacia el final de la segunda guerra mundial y abarca distintos frentes de las tropas aliadas, por ejemplo, tenemos el frente rojo donde los rusos pelean contra los nazis, esta África donde los australianos también luchan contra los nazis, además está el frente de Japón donde los soldados estadounidenses luchan contra el imperio japones.

Y la misión principal es descubrir y detener los planes nazis de proyecto Fénix, que segun la trama busca cambiar el curso de la guerra y darle una gran ventaja al nazi sobre sus enemigos, ya que como sabemos hacia el año 1944 y 1945 los nazis estaban perdiendo terreno por todos lados.

Los personajes principales de la trama son:

Arthur Kingsley sargento paracaidista británico que es líder del equipo.

Polina Petrova la francotiradora más mortal del ejército rojo.

Wade Jackson el piloto más audaz y con un extraño sentido del humor.

Lucas Riggs el soldado australiano rebelde, pero pieza clave en el escuadrón.

Y el villano principal es el jefe del proyecto fénix el nazi Hermann Wenzel Freisinger.

Las historias de cada personaje son interesantes porque aportan mucho valor al juego, por ejemplo, Arthur Kingsley es uno de los primeros soldados negros en lograr grandes rangos en el ejército, tiene que luchar contra todos los prejuicios que le hacen lo cual le gana el odio de otros soldados racistas e incluso del nazi, que lo consideran inferior o como alguien que no debe dar órdenes. Pero a lo largo de todo el juego queda claro su papel como líder y como uno de los mejores soldados del escuadrón.

Polina Petrova tiene que luchar contra los estereotipos de que las mujeres son inferiores en el combate, ya que al ser la mejor francotiradora deja muy claro que no le teme a ningún reto, además debe luchar contra los sentimientos de perderlo todo en la guerra, ya que su padre y hermano mueren en manos de los alemanes. También al ser la dama ruiseñor se consagra como la combatiente más letal del ejército rojo lo cual de la esperanza a los rusos en su lucha contra los nazis.

Wade Jackson es un tipo creado que por volar un avión y destruir muchas naves enemigas se cree mejor que todos, pero un accidente en medio del frente enemigo lo deja en tierra donde aprende que el trabajo en equipo es importante y que los soldados que combaten en tierra también son piezas valiosas del avance aliado en la guerra, todo esto le enseña a valorar mucho a sus compañeros.

Lucas Riggs es un soldado que cuestiona todas las decisiones de los altos mandos ya que segun su experiencia las considera inútiles y sin sentido en el combate real, además tiene que afrontar la muerte de sus compañeros en África por malas decisiones de un soldado con mayor rango que no supo dirigir al pelotón y cayeron frente al nazi.

Así que todos estos soldados con diferentes historias detrás, se unen en una misión para detener una de las ultimas jugadas del nazi para ganar la guerra. Todas sus vivencias, combates y tácticas dejan claro porque han fueron elegidos para llevar a cabo la misión de detener a Freisinger

Algo que me decepciona mucho de esta entrega es que el villano principal no sea Jannick Richter, ya que segun mi opinión logra una mejor conexión con el jugador, además no es el típico estereotipo de villano sin un propósito definido, incluso en una escena donde asesina a sangre fría a un amigo de fría Kingsley se puede ver que es más villano que Freisinger que casi no aparece en escena. Y cuando Freisinger le dice a Richter que Hitler se suicidó da un giro a su personaje y se coloca en segundo plano, lo cual me decepciona mucho ya que hubieran hecho mucho más con ese personaje.

En conclusión, Call Of Duty Vanguard es más que un simple bps de disparos de la segunda guerra mundial, es un juego con vida propia que te muestra lo que pudieron vivir personajes reales en su lucha contra los nazis. Además, su historia esta tan llena de detalles que hacen vivirlo como si estuvieras allí, y sé que, aunque suene exagerado para algunos este es la mejor entrega de COD ya que combinan el combate característico de los COD junto con una historia llena de sentido y emociones.
