Revisiting Cafe Laguna at Ayala Mall

One of the Filipino norms is to celebrate any occasion in a restaurant or hotel or even at the beach.
Let me share with you my first and second time dining in at Cafe Laguna.

In January of this year, I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday from afar. My friends suggested having dinner at a Korean restaurant but since I am craving Filipino food I asked them if we can do it next time. We went to Ayala mall across to where we work and since we haven't tried Cafe Laguna we all agreed to dine with them.

Did you know how we paid for our dinner?
Well, I wanted to pay for the dinner but my boyfriend and @queenmeiko22 had a bet over New York Jets and New York Giants.

Westerner loves sports, especially football. 🏈 🏈 

"Well, my boyfriend lost the bet but he told me I still win". 😂🤣

I enjoyed the food, I love the Sinigang na baboy or (Tamarind Soup with Pork) and I forgot to include in the photo the Chicken Pandan during the first visit but I got the chance to taste it again during the latest visit. 😊

Just this week since I am craving again for Filipino food, I told my two friends which is Kaye and Yor to have our exchange gift at Cafe Laguna and that time the restaurant is crowded. Good thing when we left the office Kaye was able to reserve a table for us.

I am excited to dine in especially I am with two of my closest friend at work and the thing that I was looking forward to was the Chicken Pandan and trying a different dish.

If you are craving Chicken Pandan you can try this restaurant. I was a bit in shock when we ordered the vegetable lumpia and there's a shrimp on it.
It tastes good but if you have an allergy to shellfish I will recommend asking the waiter or staff the ingredients mixed with your food. I thought I am gonna be safe with the Noddles because we asked to have the shrimp removed. 😄😁
Good thing my friend has an antihistamine and was able to drink before it worsen.
But overall, I enjoyed my second visit to Cafe Laguna and for sure I'll visit again either alone or with friends.
