How I Celebrated My Birthday (Part 1)

It's a little late to post this, but I'll tell you how I celebrate my birthday. The event is divided into two parts, of which this is the first. The day before my birthday, April and I discussed going out the next day to celebrate both my birthday and hers. We decided to have lunch at SM Seaside, which is both close to where we reside. We hadn't decided on a restaurant because I wanted to check it out while we were there. And we'd have time to talk and look around the place.

It was raining and there was probably traffic. I got there first and waited for my friend because she got stuck in traffic, so I looked about and checked out some stores. I also intended to get a massage at one of the massage chairs while waiting but the attendant were not around so I just sit and relax while I wait.
After over 30 minutes of waiting, she came, and we immediately took for a walk to look for a spot to eat. We looked at some of the restaurants where we may possibly eat, and some were crowded while others were not. I choose to look for a less congested location because I prefer peace and quiet.

It took over 10-15 minutes to choose the spot and we went back and forth and we agreed to choose the Seafood Island. It was raining and I was also craving for some Sinigang and I know this place do not dissapoint me. Good thing that it was not crowded and I can see that also it is more better interior than the one in Ayala.

We ordered Sinigang na Bangus, Calamares, Sinuglaw, Pork BBQ, plain rice, and Calamansi for drinks. We ordered a lot not realizing we wouldn't be able to eat it, but we didn't mind because we could take whatever leftovers we had once we were done. It took around 20-25 minutes to put together all of our order and while we waited, we got some nice photos on the inside. We also discuss work and life in general.

We were ecstatic when the food arrived, and we can't wait to try it all. I always start with the soup, and I appreciate how many vegetables are included. So far, I'm pleased with everything we've ordered. We didn't finish them all, so we asked the waiter to wrap what was left so we could take it home. I choose to bring only the BBQ and leave the rest to her. We consumed the Sinigang na Bangus since we both like it.

I can say that we were certainly full, and we agreed to go for a long walk so that the meal we ate could digest completely. We didn't go home after a big lunch; instead, we went to one location, which I will also share in a few days.
