In the previous post I talked about my experience at Splinterlands and explained how good it seems to me as a game. And although I still don't know him fully, I can say that I have already won my games and in the last few nights I had a good winning streak. So much so that I completely filled in the yellow indicator that indicates the percentage of progress that you have in Bronze III. But not everything seemed so wonderful to me.

En el post anterior hablaba sobre mi experiencia en Splinterland y exponía lo bien que me parece como juego. Y, aunque aún no lo conozco del todo, puedo decir que ya gano mis partidas y en las últimas noches tuve una buena racha de victorias. Tanto así que llené totalmente el indicador amarillo que señala el porcentaje de avance que llevas en Bronce III. Pero no todo se me antojó tan maravilloso.
When I got over 400 percentage points I noticed that the yellow line was already complete, however I kept winning but did not advance in level, that's when I checked that blue energy bar below, which is the power bar, and when poking around In the lock that locks Bronze II, I read that it takes more than 900 power points to unlock the level (my mother!!!!!!!) and I only have 5 power. That was not an encouraging experience. How could I get those 900-odd power points? Simply with another not encouraging way since that power, far from depending on the way you play, is subordinate to the assets of the game that you have in possession (so far all I have is the letter I earned with the daily quest since the speedbook cards are really a loan).
Cuando me situé sobre los 400 puntos de porcentaje noté que ya la línea amarilla estaba en el tope, no obstante seguía ganando pero no avanzaba de nivel, fue entonces cuando revisé esa barra de energía azul que está debajo, que es la de poder, y al hurgar en el candadito que bloquea al Bronce II leí que se requiere más de 900 puntos de poder para lograr desbloquear el nivel (madre mía!!!!!!!) y sólo tengo 5 de poder. Eso fue una experiencia nada alentadora. ¿Cómo podía obtener esos 900 y tantos puntos de poder? Simplemente con otra manera tampoco alentadora puesto que ese poder, lejos de depender de la forma en que juegues, está subordinado a los activos del juego que tengas en posesión (hasta ahora lo único que tengo es la cartica que me gané con el quest diario puesto que las del speedbook son realmente un préstamo).
What does this mean? Two simple things, in addition to acquiring the speedbook, you have to invest more in the game, such as cards and stuff or ... collect a certain amount of dec by winning battles, which would mean several hours of play, since the number of dec you get for each victory it is minimal. But it is not a suicide mission, with perseverance and tenacity you can gather a certain amount of dec. But ... what to do with those dec? They will never reach you to acquire a card with the high costs that you get in the market, but they would help you to rent certain cards that, in addition to helping you win 90% percent of the battles, will completely fill the blue power bar (or at least I saw that in a video tutorial) and they will take you to the silver level from where you can aspire to prizes in dec and pack of cards in the chests at the end of the season.
¿Qué significa esto? Dos cosas sencillas, además de la adquisición del speedbook tienes que invertir más en el juego como en cartas y esas cosas o… reunir cierta cantidad de dec ganando batallas, lo cual significaría varias horas de juego pues el número de dec que obtienes por cada victoria es mínimo. Pero no es una misión suicida, con constancia y tenacidad se puede reunir cierta cantidad de dec. Pero… ¿Qué hacer con esos dec? Nunca te alcanzarán para adquirir una carta con los elevados costos que te consigues en el mercado, pero si te servirían para rentar ciertas cartas que, además de ayudarte a ganar el 90% por ciento de las batallas, llenarán totalmente la barra azul de poder (o al menos eso vi en un videotutorial) y te llevarán al nivel plata desde donde si puedes aspirar a premios en dec y pack de cartas en los cofres de fin de temporada.
This doesn't look bad at all. If you play and win enough you can do about 150 dec which is what it would cost to rent the cards, but dark clouds are looming on the horizon. Apparently there is an announcement over there that the rewards in dec are going to be eliminated at the bronze level… How? Will bounties be removed in dec? And that hadn't been removed a few weeks ago? Well yeah, this is supposed to have been removed a few days ago, at least the dec rewards in the end of season chests. So what rewards are they referring to? The only ones they may be referring to is the few dec that are won by battle.
Esto no luce del todo mal. Si se juega y gana lo suficiente se puede hacer unos 150 dec que es lo que costaría rentar las dichosas cartas, pero los nubarrones negros se ciernen en el horizonte. Aparentemente hay un anunció por allí de que se van a eliminar las recompensas en dec en el nivel bronce… ¿Cómo? ¿Se van a eliminar las recompensas en dec? ¿Y eso no lo habían eliminado hace unas semanas? Pues sí, se supone que esto lo eliminaron unos días atrás, al menos las recompensas en dec en los cofres de fin de temporada. Entonces, ¿a qué recompensas se refieren? Las únicas a las que pueden estarse refiriendo es a los pocos dec que se ganan por batalla.
If this is so as novices we would have to think about another game and give the initial investment as a loss, that is if we do not want to invest in the purchase of dec to rent cards that help us reach the silver level. However, it is not known for sure what the restrictions may consist of, perhaps they will limit the way in which the decs are acquired by establishing certain requirements or something like that.
De ser esto así como novatos tendríamos que ir pensando en otro juego y dar la inversión inicial como perdida, eso si no queremos invertir en la compra de dec para rentar cartas que nos ayuden a llegar al nivel plata. Sin embargo, no se sabe a ciencia cierta en que pueden consistir las restricciones, tal vez limitarán la forma en la que se adquieren los dec estableciendo ciertos requisitos o algo así.
It should be noted, however, that these updates are mainly due to the fight of the game administrators against bots, in which they face a practice in which a person acquires several accounts in Splinterlands and entrusts their operation to computer miniprograms that are in charge of playing as real people, which in return ends up taking the opportunity away from aspiring players of flesh and blood. Debe resaltarse, no obstante que estas actualizaciones obedecen principalmente a la lucha de los administradores del juego contra los bots, en la que enfrentan una práctica en la cual una persona adquiere varias cuentas en Splínterland y encomienda su operación a miniprogramas informáticos que se encargan de jugar como personas reales lo que en contrapartida termina por quitarle la oportunidad a las aspirantes a jugadores de carne y hueso. No obstante, y como ya se ha mencionado, esta lucha podría dejar a los jugadores más novatos relegados de posibles avances en el juego, salvo que se decidan por exceder su inversión más allá de la compra del Speedbook. Aunque debemos hacer notar que en comparación con otros juegos la inversión inicial en Splinterland es bastante irrisoria y el alquiler de cartas bastante atractivo.
Anyway, having made all this exposition I must point out that I have re-entered the game and have continued to win dec in the usual way (yes, my winning streak disappeared). It will be a matter of waiting for the changes to see how they could affect our way of playing or obtaining the desired dec.
En fin, habiendo hecho toda esta exposición debo señalar que he vuelto a entrar al juego y he seguido ganado dec de la forma de siempre (eso sí, mi racha de victorias desapareció). Será cuestión de esperar los cambios para ver cómo podrían afectar nuestra forma de jugar o de obtener los ansiados dec.
Renting cards is very simple and cheap. Playing in Bronze 1 will cost you way less than the DEC increase from winning matches in that tier. Just try it and see and you wont be disappointed. Use peakmonsters to rent since they have the easiest system for managing your rentals.
