Multicolored chili bush
Starting from the top and the lovely little flowers.
They are maybe 2 cm across, but when the open all over the bush they look quite stunning against the green leaves and dark stems.
Then we get the fruits, which are almost black before they turn bright red (very young ones are of course green).
Here are the nice and spicy hot beasts.
This shot was taken later as at the time of shooting the flowers and the rest, they weren't mature yet (duhh).
And then, to make it even more colorful, we look a little lower and inspect the stems. This bush is a good few years old -I wanna say around 8, but I am not quite sure. I just remember it always being there.
On those older, woody parts (most of them were also dead) we find lovely yellow and grey lichen.
And just because I like Lichen quite a bit and I find them very photogenic, here are two more shots. All found on the same chili bush.
Shot with Nikon D5500 + Sigma 105mm lens

You need to stake more BEER (24 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)
Here would perfectly come a photo from the chili of my mother in law. They planted some in pots, and the chilies on one of them were purple, I suppose as they still had to mature and turn red, as in your photo of the black one? Or it was just a type with that color, I am not sure. And, I can't find a photo of it in my phone now, just deleted a bunch of the images because I needed space 😅
I'd say the purple will turn red... I think...
That black one is just a stage (or very bad sunburn).
Nice !
I really like chili ;)
Me too. Those little ones are pure fire! :)
Great photos!
Thanks :)
