Hello dear Hiven friends, best wishes always wherever you are.-

First day at city of Takengon-

1.jpg

Spent about 6 hours on a motorbike trip, crossing mountains, winding roads and some high climbs. With my beloved wife, I managed to arrive in a cold city called Takengoen, we spent a week there visiting several tourist attractions located on the edge of a freshwater lake.

It took 1 hour to circle the lake by motorbike. The colorful tents looked neatly arranged on the edge of the lake. Many visitors spent the night on the edge of the lake, but not with the two of us, we chose to visit a relative's house not far from the location and spend the night There.

I tried to take some pictures from the top of the hill using my cellphone and saw some pine trees there growing right on top of a hill. Local villagers call it by the name "Atu Telah" in their local language, so maybe it has its own meaning for them.

After we were satisfied we went down to the lowlands to a village called "Bintang", where we bought some basic necessities such as cigarettes and a few slices of bread, and then proceeded to spend the night at a relative's house in the village.

Second day at freshwater lake-

12.jpg

First day my wife and I just wandered around the freshwater lake, but the second day we and our family tried to camp on the edge of the lake and wanted to enjoy the coolness of the water in the lake by swimming in it. Finding the right place to camp is sometimes a little confusing we had to spend half an hour to go back around and in the end we arrived at the expected location.

Unlike usual, on big days like this, every beach is crowded with visitors from various regions, most of them choose to spend the night by the lake by setting up camps and tents and burning bonfires at night because the weather is very cool. . The owners of the place look very happy and calm because they will get a rent which is quite decent in terms of each number of tents that will be rented out for visitors.

I tried to capture some pictures when we were at the lake location, before I plunged into the water. we spent until the afternoon, all seemed busy by themselves some were fishing, cooking water and some were looking for lobster prawns to be grilled. Our family really enjoyed that beautiful day.

Some foods such as shrimp and fish are ready to be served, after eating our fill, we rushed to pack up all the equipment and immediately returned home.

Third day of travel in the cold city of Takengoen

24.jpg

Still mingling with the cold city atmosphere of Takengoen, the previous day I spent time by the lake with my family and wife, then for the next day I continued my journey to higher ground. There was something different that day, namely the atmosphere of the clear sky and the hot sun emitting a bright enough light and it clearly had brought a new charm behind the high mountains. The weather in mountainous areas does change sometimes but it often happens with cloudy and rainy and it happens almost every afternoon.

Seeing that the sky was so bright, I immediately rushed up my motorbike with my wife, then drove leisurely to a higher ground far from the village and the shores of the freshwater lake, the road full of bends and high incline forced our vehicle to have to go. continued to crawl with all our might to reach the height of the hill, not long after we arrived at the location, right on the shoulder of the road. Paused for a moment to park the vehicle and continued to take some pictures of the scenery at the location.

From where we were we could see the freshwater lake even though it was very far away. From the left and right, it is also seen that it is filled with coffee plantations belonging to local villagers and several pine trees at the top.
