Spotted street photography–2024. Part 2

I have long since abandoned photographic tricks and techniques, as I consider it not a real vision of the surrounding reality. Even the telephoto lens has become less scary for me, because I can see with my eyes in the same way some kind of cluster of spots in the distance, focus on it, highlight it.

When photographing, I try to convey the story as it really was.

Of course, all people see differently, and it's not even a matter of perception, but of ordinary physics.

Everyone has different color rendition, everyone has different eyesight, someone has color blindness, someone has a clouded lens and many other subtleties people can have.

For example, I have myopia, I see slightly out of focus and it even helps me to see the plot by color and light spots.

And for someone, details and their sharpness are important.

Photography has always performed a variety of functions and tasks.

Indeed, sharpness is needed somewhere in order to witness some details as a document or scientific fact.

And in creative genres, details are not always needed, often even pictures are out of focus or blurred.

I almost always have a combination of document and painting (that is, light painting).

I convey the picturesqueness and creativity of nature itself and the reality that surrounds me.

If the shadows fell that way, if the person in the shadow is like a black silhouette, then I see it and pass it on to the photo.

You can pull out the shadows and then the person's face will be visible, but this is no longer the reality that it was...you can remove unnecessary details, then it will be a lie.
