Lisitsinsky quarry. Part 1

For the third fall in a row, I have been waiting for the leaves to fall off as quickly as possible to fully enjoy the natural graphics. I have chosen a place that has not yet been studied in detail by me. This is the Lisitsinsky quarry.

This artificial lake is located 13 km south-east of Vologda. Sand was mined here for the construction of various objects.

The quarry was formed in the 50s of the last century. And it became flooded in the 90s. The maximum depth is about 30 meters.

There are elevation differences, so I chose this location for the graphics.

For a graphic landscape, the absence of the sky in the picture is ideal.

But you can also do it graphically with the sky!

This autumn was simply the most abstract-graphic-spacy!

This is what happens when you get off the material and reportage wave!

I’m wondering if I saw my pictures that I’m doing now, ten years ago, how would I take them?

I suppose that I probably would not understand such landscapes.

How is this so? After all, the main thing is a perfectly aligned composition, light and color! And also the plot: where is the river, bridge, starry sky or fog, where is the diversity and volume?

But the main thing, as it turned out, was not the cover at all, but what was inside.

I didn’t intentionally put the first photo on the cover of the post so that it attracted attention - it’s just the first shot that I took upon arrival at the place.

But all the puzzles came together in such a way that the photo on the cover of the post just reveals the meaning of the cover.

That is, this picture is beautiful, well complex, but it lacks an internal component - metaphysics.

And all the following pictures are unattractive as a preview, but if you look closely, they can awaken some feelings and thoughts, they can make the brain work.

But I also started shooting graphics more aesthetically.

This, by the way, is a little more complicated. It is necessary to adjust the eye in a certain way in order to see only such subjects.
