Blue hour in Vologda. Part 1

I went back to the blue hour again, although there was a period when I did not like it. When I was within the framework of a landscape, and in particular an urban one, the use of gold and blue hours was just ideal there.

Let me remind you that the blue hour is when the sun has already disappeared behind the horizon, but night has not yet come, that is, the sky has not become completely dark.

The blue goes very well with the yellow of the street lamps.

The picture is very soft in tone.

It is best to shoot during the blue hour during snowy seasons, as the snow is colored in cold shades and thereby enhances the beauty of this time.

Snow is similar in characteristics to ground paint - itself is white, but it can be painted in any color.

If everything turns out so well, then why was there a period when I did not like the blue hour?

I once figured out that during the blue hour it turns out a very poisonous blue color of the sky, and also the white balance cannot be set perfectly.

But now I understand that there is nothing perfect, but the color of the sky is actually the same!

Lately, by the way, I have been thinking about the color of the sky.

It is blue in the blue hour, and in cloudy weather, when it is completely dark, it can even be orange!

And so I also did not like the orange sky, but in vain. You need to accept reality as it is.

And if you get unnatural colors in the picture, then take a look around: if they really are, then everything is in order.

If the colors are normal, and the camera produced something different, different from reality, then it's up to you to choose whether to accept this result or not.

To be continued...
