Yakushino

I had two attempts to explore Yakushino, but for some reason I preferred other places each time. This time Yakushino was revealed to me in all its glory.

People also live here, and this is the most lively remote corner along the Verkhneshardengsky bush. As you can already understand, in this series about the villages of the Velikoustyugsky district, I captured a specific bush of villages. Therefore, the administrative affiliation in subsequent posts can be overlooked.

Yakushino is located on the slope of a small hill near the same river Mensha. The houses here are very diverse, from carved five-walls, to panel apartment barracks. Judging by the size of the village and the construction of some houses, there were all social facilities: a school, a club, a post office, a shop, etc. The road here is dirt, but good quality. There is street lighting. There is still a telephone connection, but not cellular, but by wire.

A horse is grazing in a flood meadow near the river, geese are cackling, well, there's nothing to say about spring birds – the trills can be heard all over the neighborhood. A seagull sat on a pole. Where is she from here? Is there really fish in such a small river? The most beautiful landscape opens from the bridge over the Mensha – the village is at a glance.

I'm trying a new format so that not one sentence is one thought, but first text, then photos.
