Un saludo mi querida comunidad NeedleWork feliz día 💙 especialmente a todos los que hacen vida en la plataforma de HiveBlog y nos encanta el arte de la confección. Para hoy les comparto la elaboración de un Juego de sabanas matrimonial o ropa de cama para decorar nuestra habitación. Así como me encanta confeccionar prendas de vestir también me gusta tener la cama de mi habitación bien vestida y combinarla con mis colores preferidos. Hacia bastante tiempo que no realizaba uno, pero en estos días me entusiasme con una técnica nueva específicamente para el cubre colchón de una manera fácil y sencilla les traigo este paso a paso para que desde casa pueden confeccionar la ropa de sus camas.

For today I share with you the elaboration of a set of matrimonial sheets or bedding to decorate our bedroom. Just as I love to make clothes I also like to have my bedroom bed well dressed and combine it with my favorite colors. It has been a long time since I made one, but these days I got excited with a new technique specifically for the mattress cover in an easy and simple way I bring you this step by step so that from home you can make the linen for your beds.

Comencemos este proyecto que les comparto hoy como es la elaboración de un juego de sabana matrimonial o ropa de cama. Iniciamos por el cubre colchón para el cual debemos tomar las medidas de nuestro colchón que en este caso es matrimonial pero de igual manera si es para una cama individual el procedimiento es el mismo. Debemos tomar las medidas del ancho y largo del colchón, como también el alto a la que le vamos a sumar 5 centímetros mas. En la imagen le muestro una pequeña formula para calcular tanto el ancho como el largo exacto. Se la explico de esta manera comenzamos con los 5 centímetros sobrantes mas el alto del colchón (20 centímetros) mas el ancho ( 1.40 centímetros) y repetimos mas el alto ( 20 centímetros mas los 5 sobrantes, la sumatoria es el total del ancho del colchón. De igual manera hacemos lo mismo para calcular el largo

Let's start this project that I share with you today as is the development of a set of matrimonial sheet or bedding. We start with the mattress cover for which we must take the measurements of our mattress which in this case is a double mattress but also if it is for a single bed the procedure is the same. We must take the measurements of the width and length of the mattress, as well as the height to which we will add 5 centimeters more. In the image I show you a small formula to calculate both the width and the exact length. I explain it this way we start with the 5 centimeters left over plus the height of the mattress (20 centimeters) plus the width (1.40 centimeters) and repeat plus the height (20 centimeters plus the 5 centimeters left over, the sum is the total width of the mattress. In the same way we do the same to calculate the length.

Doblamos la tela de tal manera que las 4 esquina queden en un mismo lugar, con la ayuda de una regla o cinta métrica marcamos los 25 centímetros de extremo a extremo y formamos un cuadrado.

We fold the fabric in such a way that the 4 corners are in the same place, with the help of a ruler or tape measure we mark the 25 centimeters from end to end and form a square.

Con la ayuda de una plancha traemos un extremo hacia el otro haciendo coincidir la marca de las lineas esto se debe hacer en las 4 puntas del cubre colchón, por esa linea vamos a pasar costura recta

Este sobrante de tela no lo vamos a cortar porque de esta manera es mas resistente y duradera esta pieza. Lo colocamos hacia un lado y le pasamos costura recta para fijarlo.

We are not going to cut this excess fabric because this way this piece is more resistant and durable. We place it to one side and sew a straight seam to fix it.

Para fijar la elástica, doblamos la tela 1/2 centímetro encima colocamos la elástica y pasamos costura para sujetarlo. Volvemos a doblar la tela de manera que oculte la elástica, la estiramos y pasamos costura recta por encima, hasta colocar por todo el contorno del cubre colchón. Me gusta mas que este todo engomado a que solo tengan las esquina porque de esta manera evitamos que se salga del colchón

To fix the elastic, we fold the fabric 1/2 centimeter over it, place the elastic and sew a seam to hold it. We fold the fabric again so that it hides the elastic, stretch it and sew a straight seam over it, until we place it all around the mattress cover. I like it better if it is all rubberized than if it only has the corners because this way we prevent it from coming out of the mattress.

De esta manera terminamos con el cubre colchón

Esta otra pieza que acostumbramos a colocar encima de cubre colchón, las medidas son las mismas a las calculadas anteriormente solo con la diferencia que a este solo se le hacen dobladillos por todo el contorno. excepto en uno de los extremos le colocamos un sesgo en combinación con la tela unicolor y lo realizamos con un sobrante de esta tela con ayuda de una plancha

This other piece that we use to place on top of the mattress cover, the measures are the same as those calculated above only with the difference that this one is only hemmed all around, except at one end we place a bias in combination with the unicolor fabric and we make it with a surplus of this fabric with the help of an iron.

Para las fundas de las almohadas utilizamos como patrón alguna que tengamos en casa, cosemos por los costados y por ultimo en la abertura hacemos un doblez un poco mas ancho o también le pueden colocar un dobladillo en combinación con la tela unicolor

For the pillow covers we use as a pattern any pillow we have at home, we sew on the sides and finally in the opening we make a fold a little wider or you can also place a hem in combination with the unicolor fabric.

De esta manera queda terminado este lindo proyecto como fue la elaboración de un juego de sabanas matrimonial o ropa para cama. espero se animen a realizarlo. Con esmero y dedicación podemos lograr muchas cosas que nos proponemos.
