En estos días recibí la visita de mi sobrina y al ver que estaba elaborando unas pulseras me pidió que le diseñara una para ella. Comencé a buscar algo bien infantil y me inspire en una Hermosa pulsera doble tejida en hilo chino color rosa decorada con cuenta de osito utilizando la Técnica macrame. Cuando le mostré la figura central que iba utilizar para su accesorio quedo encantada y me estuvo acompañando hasta que culmine el proyecto, lo bueno es que pude complacerla y regalarle su pulsera que también la personalice con una cuenta de la letra inicial de su nombre. These days I received a visit from my niece and seeing that I was making some bracelets she asked me to design one for her. I started looking for something very childish and I was inspired by a beautiful double bracelet woven in pink Chinese thread decorated with a teddy bear bead using the macrame technique. When I showed her the central figure that I was going to use for her accessory she was delighted and kept me company until I finished the project, the good thing is that I was able to please her and give her a bracelet that I also personalized with a bead of the initial letter of her name. Now materials in hands we start with our step by step

Comenzamos con este nuevo proyecto como es elaborar una pulsera de niña. Primeramente medimos y cortamos los hilos que vamos a utilizar. El hilo guía mide 25 centímetros, igual que el hilo donde vamos a insertar las diferentes cuentas, por ultimo la hebra de hilo que utilizaremos para tejer sera de 70 centímetros. En la hebra de hilo que le mencione anteriormente insertamos las cuentas siguiendo una secuencia. Primero una mostacilla, después una cuenta y luego otra mostacilla, en el centro debe quedar la cuenta de osito y del otro lado seguimos el mismo orden solo que cambia la cuenta sw estrella por la letra inicial de su nombre

We start with this new project to make a girl's bracelet. First we measure and cut the threads we are going to use. Para ajustar las cuentas en el centro del hilo y evitar que se muevan, vamos a realizar un nudo franciscano en cada lado. Para esto voy a utilizar el palito de una chupeta. Hacemos pasar el hilo por encima del palito y comenzamos a enrollar de derecha a izquierda dando seis vueltas, esa misma hebra la pasamos por el orificio del palo y de esta manera lo sacamos del enrollado. Halamos de ambos lados y con los dedos damos forma el nudo mientras ajustamos

To adjust the beads in the center of the thread and prevent them from moving, we are going to tie a Franciscan knot on each side. For this I am going to use the stick of a lollipop. Juntamos la dos hebras de hilo que tienen la guía y la otra donde insertamos las cuentas, dejando 6 centímetros sobrantes los cuales vamos a sujetar con la pinza para comenzar a tejer. El nudo que vamos hacer es el plano y con este unimos ambas hebras haciendo 4 nudos, después separamos los dos hilos para continuar tejiendo solamente en uno. Por esto se llama pulsera doble

Tejemos el largo necesario hasta llegar al otro extremo de las cuentas y repetimos el mismo paso cuando iniciamos tomando ambos hilo continuamos haciendo 4 nudos planos. Cortamos el excedente de los hilos sobrantes y quemamos con el encendedor

We weave the necessary length until we reach the other end of the beads and repeat the same step when we started taking both threads and continue making 4 flat knots. Cut the excess threads and burn them with the lighter.

En cada extremo nos queda 6 centímetros de hilo y vamos a insertar una cuenta de corazón seguido de un nudo básico que también le vamos a quemar las puntas con el encendedor

Cruzamos ambos extremos y con otra hebra de hilo de 20 centímetros realizamos 4 nudos planos. Cortamos el hilo sobrante y luego lo quemamos con el encendedor
