Hablar de nuestro planeta tierra jamás será un tema aburrido para mí, gracias a su diversidad y esplendor es mucho lo que podemos referir de nuestra gran burbuja azul. Respecto a los términos científicos que se le han otorgado a la tierra conozco poco, realmente no me he preocupado en escudriñar sobre esos temas, sin embargo nunca deja de llegar a mis oídos mucha información relacionada al planeta, su evolución y cuidado.
Talking about our planet earth will never be a boring topic for me, thanks to its diversity and splendor there is much we can refer to our big blue bubble. Regarding the scientific terms that have been given to the earth I know little, I have not really bothered to scrutinize on these issues, however never ceases to reach my ears a lot of information related to the planet, its evolution and care.
Cuando esta información llega a mi lo asumo como cultura general y guardo como buena referencia, pero mi verdadera relación con el planeta tierra se centra en la memoria de la especie que me habita y que instintivamente me nutre y guía para ofrendarla, cuidar y hacer de mi casa un lugar acogedor tanto para mí como para los que me rodean.
When this information reaches me I assume it as general culture and I keep it as a good reference, but my true relationship with the planet earth is centered in the memory of the species that inhabits me and that instinctively nourishes and guides me to offer it, take care and make my home a welcoming place for me and for those around me.

Es por ello que todos los temas ancestrales me sensibilizan al punto de indagar y conocer como nuestros antepasados se relacionaban con la pachamama. Dentro de la cultura venezolana indudablemente por la gran influencia indígena, europea y africana existe muchas formas de honrarla durante todo el año.
That is why all the ancestral themes sensitize me to the point of investigating and knowing how our ancestors were related to the pachamama. Within the Venezuelan culture, undoubtedly because of the great indigenous, European and African influence, there are many ways to honor her throughout the year.
Tomo en cuenta y destaco el trabajo y honra a la tierra a través de las leyendas milenarias de las culturas griega y celta que son apasionantes y según investigaciones tenemos gran influencia, de allí tanta información y poder recibido que de algún modo moviliza a nuestro inconsciente personal y colectivo, impulsándonos a tener acciones arquetípicas tanto en la vida persona como artística cónsonas con tales influencias.
I take into account and highlight the work and honor the earth through the ancient legends of the Greek and Celtic cultures that are exciting and according to research we have great influence, hence so much information and power received that somehow mobilizes our personal and collective unconscious, driving us to have archetypal actions in both personal and artistic life consistent with such influences.

Aquí en Venezuela a través de cantos y manifestaciones populares se conmemora y celebra la tierra entre los meses de Abril y mayo, designado este último como el mes de las flores y de la cruz símbolo de bonanza, prosperidad y abundancia, tema que posiblemente desarrollaré en otro post durante los próximos días.
Here in Venezuela through songs and popular manifestations the earth is commemorated and celebrated between the months of April and May, the latter designated as the month of flowers and the cross symbol of bonanza, prosperity and abundance, a topic that I will possibly develop in another post in the coming days.
Tras dos años de encierro por la pandemia nuestra tierra pudo librarse un poco de la mano del hombre irrespetuoso volviendo a fortalecerse mostrando a través de la naturaleza su magnificencia por ende espacios abiertos para ser nutridos y revitalizados.
After two years of confinement due to the pandemic, our land was able to free itself a little from the hand of disrespectful man, returning to strengthen itself, showing through nature its magnificence and therefore open spaces to be nurtured and revitalized.
Es así como este año en conjunto con mi grupo de mujeres tamboreras y Drumsmater Moreno decidíamos conmemorar a nuestra tierra el día sábado 23 de abril de 2022, en un lugar de Caracas que necesita mucha luz y amor, en el que con gustos decidimos realizar actividades que la reivindiquen.
This is how this year together with my group of women drummers and Drumsmater Moreno we decided to commemorate our land on Saturday April 23, 2022, in a place in Caracas that needs a lot of light and love, in which with pleasure we decided to carry out activities that vindicate it.

Las mismas consintieron en realizar una feria donde nuestro plan en primer orden fue dar inicio a la creación de un centro de reciclaje de residuos sólidos como: botellas plásticas, anime, vidrio y aluminio, con fines de lucro a futuro para ambientar nuestro centro cultural.
They consisted of holding a fair where our first plan was to start the creation of a recycling center for solid waste such as: plastic bottles, anime, glass and aluminum, with the purpose of making a profit in the future to decorate our cultural center.

También ese día invitamos a los participantes a llevar diversas plantas y semillas para sembrar en los espacios abiertos del lugar de este modo creamos una jornada de siembra. En este mismo orden de tanto belleza e integración invitamos a personas con cultivos artesanales y alimentos saludables, para darle la posibilidad de poder proyectarse y vender sus productos 100% natural.
Also that day we invite participants to bring various plants and seeds to sow in the open spaces of the place in this way we create a day of planting. In this same order of beauty and integration we invite people with artisan crops and healthy food, to give them the possibility to project and sell their products 100% natural.
De igual modo invitamos a muchas otras personas con talento desde las disciplinas holísticas relacionadas con el cuerpo y el bienestar de este modo una de nuestras compañeras nos asistió con su proyecto closet circular donde la invitación fue a que lleváramos ropas en buen uso y realizar el tan conocido trueque, al igual que otra compañera quien nos ofreció una estupenda clase de Yoga.
In the same way we invited many other talented people from the holistic disciplines related to the body and wellness in this way one of our colleagues assisted us with her project closet circular where the invitation was to bring clothes in good use and perform the well known barter, as well as another colleague who offered us a great Yoga class.

Mi aporte fue desde mi experiencia en el campo de la danza y expresión plástica, entonces propuse realizar al inicio del evento una danza circular llamada "Si si kumbale" la cual es un canto africano relacionado con el trabajo en la tierra realizado por mujeres y hombres en alguna lugar de África.
My contribution was from my experience in the field of dance and plastic expression, so I proposed to perform at the beginning of the event a circular dance called "Si si kumbale " which is an African song related to the work on the land done by women and men somewhere in Africa.

El tema lo he venido practicando con niños en mi lugar de trabajo, de lo cual no muestro evidencias por falta de autorización para colgar vídeos sobre ellos, por eso aquí presento de donde me inspire creando nuevos movimientos y distribución en el espacio alusivos al trabajo de la tierra y honra para los presente integrado a mi experiencia y gusto por las danzas circulares y en rondas ecológicas, que en esta oportunidad danzarlo con adultos fue maravilloso.

También ofrecí una actividad de expresión plástica para niños que consistió en dibujar con tizas en el piso varios planetas tierra y allí después de una charla motivacional con percusión corporal los invite a dejar su huella sobre el planeta con dibujos y escritos.
I also offered a plastic expression activity for children that consisted of drawing with chalk on the floor several planets and after a motivational talk with body percussion I invited them to leave their footprint on the planet with drawings and writings.

Mi participación estuvo también centrada en colaborar con la ambientación del lugar, mirando una pared que necesitaba ser revestida decidí seguir en la onda del reciclaje y así tome unos retazos de telas muy largos que tenía guardados y allí en unas rejas los colgué invitando a los participantes a pasar por la pared del catarsis” cuyo objetivo fue entre todos tejer una red de amor por el planeta, creándose así una hermosa malla que quedó como elemento decorativo para el espacio cultural.
My participation was also focused on collaborating with the ambience of the place, looking at a wall that needed to be covered I decided to continue in the recycling wave and so I took some very long pieces of fabric that I had saved and hung them on some bars inviting the participants to go through the wall of catharsis " whose objective was to weave a network of love for the planet, thus creating a beautiful mesh that remained as a decorative element for the cultural space.

Y el final fue más hermoso e integrador, paseamos con nuestros tambores cantándole a la tierra para cerrar en un repique de tambor colectivo con aquellos tocadores que hicieron acto de presencia para homenajear a nuestra pachamama.
And the end was more beautiful and integrating, we walked with our drums singing to the earth to close in a collective drumming with those players who made an act of presence to pay homage to our pachamama.

Realmente quedé muy feliz de esta celebración y logro donde en colectivo participamos llevando una danza y cantos de luz, amor y esperanza para el planeta a través de ese pequeño lugar natural que tanto lo necesita.
I was really happy with this celebration and achievement where we collectively participated in bringing a dance and songs of light, love and hope for the planet through this small natural place that needs it so much.
