Graffiti Lettering Constet #18 “IQ” [Esp-Eng]

Saludos apreciados lectores amantes del arte hoy doy vida y amor a mi blog después de dos semana full pude hacer un stop para integrarme al concurso #18 de la comunidad @StreetArt guiado por @trippymane ¡te envío un fraterno brazo amigo!. En esta oportunidad nos invita recrear la palabra:

Hoy sábado decidí relajarme a través de mi arte, realmente fue una semana convulsiva y llena de muchos compromisos, pero creo que lo que más me ha cansado ha sido pensar y planificar en las siguientes cosas que se me avecina que con el favor de Dios, mi determinación y entusiasmo serán de mucho provecho.

Today Saturday I decided to relax through my art, really a convulsive week full of many commitments, but I think what has tired me the most has been to think and plan for the following things that are ahead of me that with God's favor, my determination and enthusiasm will be of much benefit.

Cuando vi la invitación de @trippymane enseguida salto a mi mente la expresión ¿¡Y que!?. En mi país Venezuela es una expresión que generalmente se usa cuando alguien hace un comentario con una intención y si esta no tienen valor o importancia para el receptor algunos responden diciendo con cierta carga afectiva : ¿¡Y que!?, justamente esta semana en mi espacio de trabajo llegaron a mis oídos muchos comentarios donde efectivamente exprese: ¿¡Y que!? Siendo esto una gran motivación para tomar mis materiales y darle vida a tal expresión.

When I saw the invitation of @trippymane immediately jumped to my mind the expression So what!? In my country Venezuela is an expression that is generally used when someone makes a comment with an intention and if this has no value or importance for the receiver some people respond by saying with a certain affective charge: So what!? being this a great motivation to take my materials and give life to such an expression.

Para éste arte utilicé los siguientes materiales:

For this artwork I used the following materials: white cardboard, HB pencil, black ballpoint pen and gel marker, eraser, markers, crayons and colored chalk, PPT and PAINT programs.

Como siempre empecé dibujando las posibles letras otra vez redondas y con la gran intención de colocar en el medio algún personaje de las típicas caricaturas que realizo expresándose corporalmente con un ¿¡Y que!?

As always I started drawing the possible letters again round and with the great intention of placing in the middle some character of the typical caricatures that I make, expressing himself bodily with a So what?

Posteriormente diseñe los contornos de las letras para darle un poco de volumen y una vez listas me dedique a resaltar con el bolígrafo negro todos los demás detalles de la composición.

Then I designed the outlines of the letters to give them some volume and once they were ready I used the black pen to highlight all the other details of the composition.

La siguiente parte es con la que algunas veces me encuentro en conflicto por aquello de escoger los colores y presentar algo diferente ante cada muestra, aunque no cabe duda cada trabajo tiene nuestra esencia o marca personal, y por más que pretendamos mostrar el arte de forma diferente, siempre hay algo que dice: ¡este arte es de fulanito!.

The next part is the one with which I sometimes find myself in conflict because of choosing the colors and presenting something different for each sample, although there is no doubt that each work has our essence or personal brand, and no matter how much we try to show the art in a different way, there is always something that says: this art is so-and-so's!

Volviendo al tema de resaltar la imagen, en esta oportunidad decidí trabajar con tramas curvas, las misma dan una sensación de enredo, encuentro y desencuentro increíble que algunas veces al contemplarlas me marean, ya que tiene un efecto óptico bien interesante.

Returning to the subject of highlighting the image, this time I decided to work with curved wefts, the same give a sense of entanglement, encounter and incredible misunderstanding that sometimes when contemplating them make me dizzy, as it has a very interesting optical effect.

Para el color de las letras decidí empezar con el marcador azul, en principio pretendía hacer un relleno sólido pero luego percibí con agrado seguir con las tramas curvas, y así fui ambientando mi dibujo aplicando también el marcador rojo e integrándolos en algunas zonas blancas.

For the color of the letters I decided to start with the blue marker, at first I intended to make a solid fill but then I was pleased to continue with the curved patterns, and so I was setting my drawing also applying the red marker and integrating them in some white areas.

El bache blanco que se percibe en la Q, eso fue debido a un error cometido con el marcador negro pero resolví con un corrector de bolígrafos, agregando líneas azules y negras para dar fuerza. Una vez cubierta todas las letras con las tramas, empecé dar color al cuerpecito del personaje.

The white bump that is perceived in the Q, that was due to a mistake made with the black marker but I solved it with a pen corrector, adding blue and black lines to give strength. Once all the letters were covered with the wefts, I started to give color to the little body of the character.

Sintiendo que le faltaba algo hice lo que es característico en mis dibujos, resalte el contorno difuminado con tiza color anaranjado, resultando así toda una iluminación muy agradable para mi vista, que después intervine en PPT Y PAINT para la portada sintiendo mucho gusto por el resultado.

Feeling that something was missing, I did what is characteristic in my drawings, I highlighted the outline blurred with orange chalk, resulting in a very nice illumination for my eyes, which I then intervened in PPT and PAINT for the cover feeling very pleased with the result.
