Safe and Sound in Turku

I’ve checked into my room for the night, editing photos from today and eating my evening meal. It isn’t much but there is a hotel breakfast waiting in the morning, I’ll survive.

There is security posted outside my door, like for real real, so I know I’ll be sleeping peacefully tonight. I’m not the actual VIP here but since the important personnel is next door to me and I’m part of the crew, my back is covered too. Some cool perks to this random ass gig.

As a night owl I’m getting ahead of my work load by editing the first photos now, so at least I’ve started that part before even getting back to the home office. What I should be doing is sleeping because our VIP has threatened us with a jog first thing in the morning, which means I need to be up and running too. Hopefully not actually running because me and my camera ain’t build for that.

I don’t know this city at all, only visited once before years ago, so I’m hoping I’m getting even a little sightseeing tomorrow.
