Progress on the Cardi

My torso has an amazing rack, perfect for modelling.

This progress photo is at the start of day 5 of knitting this cardigan, obviously not four full days of knitting but a quite a lot of hours already.

I just got the raglan increases done and separated the sleeves, now it’s smooth sailing until the pockets. I might make a detour though at some point and knit the sleeves before finishing the body, as it’s pretty annoying doing the sleeves last.

It’s nice to be at this point of the knit where you can already see how it’s starting to shape up and can actually try it on. I rarely follow the patterns exactly, I often make some slight adjustments to the sizing because that’s the beauty of handmade to order(for myself), you can make it fit just like you want to, knit a few more increases there, decrease here, make it longer etc.

This knit is coming along surprisigly fast and I’m getting very tempted to do a super long cardigan. A long cardi would be a very luxurious piece to have in the closet and for my body and style, I love long lines. We’ll see we’ll see, I’ll get back to you in another week.

I am quite careful with them, loosing a nail hurts like a biiiitch!

I can imagine it does, similar to bamboo torture I suppose. There's a reason bamboo slid under the fingernail torture methods are so effective.

I nail torture myself almost every time I wash my hair when I accidentally push one fingernail under its counterpart on the other hand.

This is coming along beautifully!! Oh my gosh I can tell how soft it is.

I just saved a few patterns for a long cardi (of course mine is crochet though) because I love the way they flow and they are perfect for a light covering. I’ll be looking out for your next update :)

Side note: I think I need to start doing my projects off season; making winter stuff in the Summer and vice versa. I never finish the things I want to wear in the current season I’m in. 😕

The halo from the mohair is dreamy isn’t it?

Haha I think that is a smart, who wants to wait half a year to finally wear that summer thing 😅

Yes, that's the word I was looking for...dreamy. 😍

This really is a beauty, I love how perfect it already looks, it's color and softness.

If you have the ability to knit with adjustments to make it look the way you want it to be, it's wonderful. I also like the cardigans, I have knitted several, they are so elegant.

I look forward to seeing the progress.

People here are really "different". Your torso mannikin gets almost double the hive than your previous post of ass ass tits? Huh?

The torso is reasonably hot and all but come on, not even close to the real thing. 🤣

It must be the cardigan right? ;)
