Goal Reached - 1000 LEO Staked!

Today I bought the last 100 LEO tokens to meet my goal of building to 1000 total LEO. It's been a long journey, and as a (sometime) working student, it's taken discipline to keep putting one foot in front of the other in order to get there, but here we are.

Winter can be rough due to slowdowns concerning work, which is why we usually power down in order to get by. Also, being the responsible one in my family, means I have a terminal relative that I care for along with college courses as well. But somehow, we just keep on, keeping on, with a positive mindset day after day.

The goal is to steadily increase the amount of crypto coming in, in order to over time equal (or surpass) the number going out. LEO is one the bases I'm building upon due to the strong community serving the financial niche. The depth of writing, and the wealth of content creators, make for a welcoming home for a prolific blogger.

Part of how I've made this happen, is to consolidate my holdings so that I'm able to fill fewer crypto silos, in order to have more of an impact. I'm now able to increase my daily LEO holdings considering I have less time to write posts due to an increase in classes. This allows me to maximize the opportunities I do have, even though I won't be able to remain a full-time investor.

But 1000 LEO is just the start. It's important to set goals for yourself as markers along the pathway in your crypto life. Remain positive, and take each day step by step, and keep stacking that crypto!

Thank you. I intend to keep going, but did see the need to streamline and consolidate my little holdings in order to make that goal.

2000 LEO is next, but longer-term will be the ability to live full-time by my crypto earnings alone. That means bringing in more than is going out. I know the minimum I need on a weekly/monthly basis, but it will be quite the journey to get there. :)

However, if that were ever possible, it would make for living proof to those here that are sceptical about crypto, that it can indeede be done.
The future awaits.

Setting goals really helps. It's a useful way to keep our eye on that North Star highlighting the way forward. It's funny, each time I fill my bags, a need arises and I have to start over again.

However, that fact that we can get back on that horse and ride again, is a testiment to the strength of this community, and the power of crypto.

You know what? it kind of snuck up on me. I had to pull back on my commenting and blogging due to classes/work etc. and a few months ago saw I was closing in on 700 LEO. So, I'm thinking I'll hit 1K by the end of the year at the rate I was going.

But I didn't realize that I was pulling a steady trickle of LEO in day after day, and thought of how better I could optimize my small crypto holdings.

Example: I sold almost all of my 200K LVL in order to buy a plot in PsyberX since I missed out on cheap Splinterlands land. Then moved some other crypto around and started buying others.

Today I woke up and saw thatI had 900 LEO and decided to jump in and pick up that last hundred since others were selling, and here we are.

To anyone sitting on the fence, what looks like high prices today, will be seen like a value in crypto tomorrow. Remember when HIVE hit 0.20 cents? :)

Congrats on your new milestone. The next 1000 would be easier. I was aiming for 2000k Leo power but polycub happened and I am moving my Leo to polygon. Since I don't curate a lot I think my stake would server me better there.

Thanks. I did something similar when I moved crypto around in order to maximize what I had on hand. I considered Polygon, but don't have the time (or enough of a stake) to really dive into it.

Some of it was just sitting there, and I wanted to convert it into something that was providine me a daily revenue stream that I could build on.

Leo begets more LEO. DEC begets SPS which can be leveraged for the future in Splinterlands. ONEUP begets extra ONEUP tokens allowing me to support even more gaming content creators, and I now have that plot in PsyberX. It all addas up. :)

Leo is a solid choice for 1 of your silos because the community is strong and will support you through votes and the leo.voter will allow you to earn more hive than you probably currently are. 1000 is a great number. 2000 will happen much quicker than 1000. If you curating, people will notice and support your content. Good luck! Great Start

It took a bit, but I was looking at my numbers and realized they were spread over too many projects. By consolidating, I could do more, with less.

With the drop in prices, I knew I couldn't rely on the upvotes of others with weak hands in play, since no one owes you an upvote. Let's hope that the decison to optimize my tokens was the wise one.

I keep buying LEO in last year and it took me 6 months to get 2000 LEO.
But I think it's my correct decision :)

You know, it's those little bits, day by day that works over time. I love waking up and seeing fresh LEO in my wallet, as it means I can do more and more. Here's to hoping that "crypto rain" continues to fall! :)
