This is how I spent my first earning in life, After my secondary education I decided to relocate with my sister and start to computer training, I spoke with my father and he agree because he does not like someone being idle and staying at home alone.

I relocated with my sister to her place and I told my sister that I do not want to learn computer but I feel like working because if I tell my father he will not agree to that, my sister said No that I can not work in her place after much persuasion she agreed to it which I quickly informed my mother about it.

On a Monday morning I went to a school to submit an application letter to them and immediately they conducted a test for me which I passed as a newly secondary school graduate.....Lol, so I was assigned to class four which I started immediately.

At the end of the month I was paid #10,000 ten thousand naira which I decided to safe because I needed to write jamb that year and I have plan to do all of that by myself without anyone assisting me but man proposes, God disposes, that was how I make my plans.

After my first earning, I mean the next day my mother called me to borrow her money that she will return it to me that what she need it for is very urgent and I do not have to question her. I was still thinking when my older brother called me for assistance too because he his in his final year in the university and he needed money to complete his project and the amount he needed was the exact amount I earned.

Though that period was very tough for my family, the government did not pay salaries then, there is no how they can feed at home, things are very rough and rigid for them at home and even for my brother writing his final exams, now this is where I was confused about my decision, should I give my mother the money to feed the family and my final year brother will drop out of school or should I give my brother the money and my family die of starvation, hmmm the decision was so tough for me to make.

After so many thought about the situation, I decided to tell my sister and she advised me to give the money to my brother because he had gone a long way and he can not jeopardize all the school fees he has paid, my sister decided to help with the family.

The next day I called my mother and explained the situation to her that I needed to give my brother the money to complete his project I thought she will be mad at me first but she was happy and told me that was the best decision I made, I was so happy and immediately I sent the money to my brother so that he will complete his project and can go for his NYSC (national youth service Corp). That was how I helped my brother with my first earning.

After my brother was through with his NYSC he got a good job in Abuja and he called me that his ready to sponsor my education, he was the one that paid for all my expenses when I was in school, from my house rent, school fees, textbooks and so on and even pocket money every month. This is why I said I reaped from what I sow and I am happy because he still gives me monthly allowance.

It pays to help others when they are in need, I am happy to help without any complain which landed me what I am enjoying today.

Thank you all for taking your precious time to read my blog.

You sowed well sis, it was so considerate and nice of you to help your brother in the time if his need, to think that it was even your first earning, and now you are reaping the fruit, which shows that when we are in position to help others, we should do it wholeheartedly.

Hmmm.. you indeed reaped from where you sow. That was a big decision you made and it yielded more blessings for you. Imagine not helping him then, even though he might find a solution but he would be so unhappy you actually did that even when you have it with you.

Keep enjoying those benefits from him 😎😎

It's good to hear it that you was able to help your brother with your first earning. A sister is always like that, always thinks for her siblings and family.

It can be really confusing when family puts you in a tight corner. Thank God your mum understood your decision and took it in good faith.

Wow...that was awesome, I like your idea of going to work instead of learning a trade is good but at that pressing need wat you need was to make your own money if not you won't have helped your brother at that point of need, though sometimes some siblings might refuse to help because there are in need of it too...but you did help your brother that was selfless love. Nice one thanks for sharing ☺️

Thank God for God.
See what you're enjoying now due to a little sacrifice of financial support. It's just like you sowed seed and it germinated to a mighty tree.
Wonderful!
