Every day I opt more and more for the consumption of vegetables as a way to ensure a feeling of fullness after eating and because I am aware of all the benefits that consuming vegetables and vegetables provide to our body, one of the things that I find most fascinating about vegetables is that according to the cut I give them I can taste them differently, or at least that happens to me.

I don't feel the same taste when I cut a carrot into sticks than when I slice, dice or grate it, regardless of the cooking I feel that the cut of the vegetable can give it a particular flavor. *Do you feel that way?

This time it occurred to me to prepare some vegetables adding two roots that I love such as ginger and turmeric, in the small market where I usually buy vegetables I have been finding ginger and turmeric roots, very good for making tea and which in this opportunity I used grated to prepare these vegetables.

¡Y ahora te muestro esta sencilla y sana receta!

And now he shows you this simple and healthy recipe!

Ingredientes Ingredients

  • 1 calabacín.
  • 1 zanahoria.
  • 1 cebolla.
  • 1 rama de cebollín.
  • 3 dientes de ajo.
  • 1 cucharadita de cúrcuma rallada.
  • 1 cucharadita de jengibre rallado.
  • 1 cucharada de salsa de soya.
  • Sal.
  • Aceite.
  • 1 zucchini.
  • 1 carrot.
  • 1 onion.
  • 1 branch of chives.
  • 3 cloves of garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon of grated turmeric.
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger.
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
  • Salt.
  • Oil.

¿Cómo prepararlo? How to prepare it?

To start, peel the zucchini, cut it in half and remove the seeds, then proceed to slice it, I love this "c" shape.

Cut the onion into julienne, the carrot into sticks, the scallion into small pieces. I like to put the carrot in water to keep it fresh.

Grate the roots (turmeric and ginger), crush or grate the garlic. The amount of these ingredients can vary according to your taste, a little more, a little less, it's valid!

Add two tablespoons of oil and sauté the garlic, turmeric and ginger, you will feel that it gives off a delicious aroma, add the onion, zucchini, carrot and scallion. Cover and cook over low heat stirring from time to time, remember to add a touch of salt according to your taste.

Queda a tu elección.

When the vegetables have reduced their volume a little, add a tablespoon of soy sauce and the chopped scallion. Cover and cook over low heat, the doneness of the vegetables will also depend on your taste, some people prefer them crunchier others softer. It's up to you.

The final result is a beautiful touch of golden color thanks to the turmeric, the flavors of these roots are an explosion in the mouth, especially for lovers of exotic sensations, a delight. These vegetables can be eaten cold as an antipasto or hot to accompany lunch or a light dinner, they can also be used as filling for delicious wheat flour empanadas or simply eaten alone, they are very comforting and satisfying.

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem

Excellent recipe! And very well presented, an delicious dish to eat with white rice. I agree with you that the flavor of the vegetables varies according to the cut, as well as the cooking technique, and also if they are cooked with or without peel. The addition of ginger and turmeric add freshness and depth to the dish. I recommend planting both plants in your home. There is nothing more delicious than using them freshly harvested; in addition, you will have the benefit of the leaves that are also used in various recipes. Very nice post. Thanks for posting on Plant Power (Vegan). Greetings.

I just ate it with white rice, it was very tasty and although the flavor is intense I liked it a lot, I was trying to harvest ginger but unfortunately, it did not prosper. Thank you for your kind comment.

It's a beautiful dish of exciting vegetables. I love the turmeric and ginger. I usually don't use fresh turmeric but I need to find some and try. It must be much more nourishing and flavorful. 😊
