Большие панды мне всегда казались мне какими-то сказочными животными, ещё до эпохи интернета, когда их активно раскрутили как самых няшных мишек.	Giant pandas have always seemed to me like some kind of fabulous animals, even before the era of the Internet, when they were actively promoted as the cutest bears.

Увидеть их вживую мне казалось невозможным. В 60-е годы, когда в Московском зоопарке жил подаренный братским Китаем самец Ань-Ань, я была ещё слишком маленькой. А потом у нас панд уже не было, с Китаем поссорились, а съездить куда-то за пределы СССР было довольно несбыточно. Но мир менялся, страны распадались, двери открывались.	Seeing them live seemed impossible. In the 60s, when the male An-An, a gift from fraternal China, lived in the Moscow Zoo, I was still too small. And many years we no longer had pandas, we quarreled with China, and it was rather unrealizable to go somewhere outside the USSR. But the world was changing, countries were falling apart, doors were opening.
В 2001 году в Московский зоопарк привезли всего лишь на 2 месяца пару панд. В эти месяцы попасть в зоопарк было непросто, но нам с друзьями это удалось. Панды оправдали все ожидания, они были великолепны, а мы стояли час перед вольером и глупо и счастливо улыбались.	In 2001, a couple of pandas were brought to the Moscow Zoo for only 2 months. During these months, it was not easy to get to the zoo, but my friends and I managed to do it. The pandas met all expectations, they were magnificent, and we stood in front of the enclosure for an hour and smiled stupidly and happily.
Тогда у меня ещё не было цифрового фотоаппарата.	I didn't have a digital camera back then.
В 2013 году, поехав в Вену, мы первый же день посвятили Шёнбрунну и, конечно, не пропустили их замечательный зоопарк. Там как раз жила панда. Но рассмотреть её было непросто, большую часть времени она располагалась вот так	In 2013, when we went to Vienna, we devoted the first day to Schönbrunn and, of course, did not miss their wonderful zoo. A panda lived there. But it was not easy to see it, most of the time it was located like this

И вот в 2019 году России удалось договориться с Китаем и в Московский зоопарк надолго привезли двух молодых панд. В сентябре 2020 я отправилась в зоопарк в первую очередь для того, чтобы ещё раз посмотреть на этих прекрасных животных. Я подготовилась. Писали, что надо приезжать к открытию, тогда панды будут бодренькими, их будут как раз кормить. Всё так и оказалось.

And in 2019, the Russia managed to reach an agreement with China and brought two young pandas to the Moscow Zoo for a long time. In September 2020, I went to the zoo first of all in order to once again look at these beautiful animals. I got ready. They wrote that it was necessary to come to the opening, then the pandas would be cheerful, they would just be fed. It all turned out that way.

и самочка Диндин. Надеюсь, я их не перепутала.

Ели оба самозабвенно и с аппетитом. Прям, тоже хотелось пожевать этот бамбук.

They both ate selflessly and with appetite. Straight, I also wanted to chew this bamboo.

Диндин, поев, полазила по деревянным конструкциям

и расположилась на высоком брёвнышке с очень философским видом.

and settled down on a high log with a very philosophical look.

Жуи продолжал чавкать бамбуком.

Поглазев на них от души, я ушла гулять по зоопарку, но попозже снова возвращалась к пандам. Они ушли с улицы во внутренние вольеры. Но там тоже можно было посмотреть на них.

After staring at them with all my heart, I went for a walk around the zoo, but later returned to the pandas again. They left the street for indoor enclosures. But there, too, you could see them.

Потом я погуляла ещё немного и напоследок опять навестила панд. Они завалились спать.

Then I walked a little more and finally visited the pandas again. They fell asleep.

Я убедилась, что правильно приехала пораньше, потому что днём могла застать, например, лишь такую позицию.

I made sure that it was right to arrive early, because during the day I could find, for example, only such a position.

Уходя из зоопарка, я купила на память светоотражающий брелок. Он теперь висит на моей сумке.

Leaving the zoo, I bought a reflective keychain as a keepsake. It now hangs on my bag.
