MADE IN GOD’S IMAGE

Hello and a good day to every member of this great community and I believe you had a great time during the weekend as well.

A happy new week to you all and I believe that God is doing new things in your life in this new week.

In Genesis.1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”

Having the image or likeness of God simply means we are made in the resemblance of God. We don’t resemble God in human flesh and blood, for God is spirit, and exist without physical body.

But we manage him in our mental, moral and social life. The image of God refers to our immaterial part, which sets us apart from other creatures and enables us to commune with him.

Mentally, we were created as rational and volitional beings. In other words, we can reason and choose. This is a reflection of God’s intellect and freedom.

Morally, we were made in righteousness and perfect innocence, a reflection of God’s holiness, and whenever we recoil from evil, praise good behavior or feel guilty, we are confirming that we are made in the image of God.

Today we still bear the image of God but also have the scar of sin in us and that is a contender in Christianity today.
But the good news is that when God restores a man he also restores his image in him as well.

And this can only happen to a man who has accepted Jesus in his life, the only one that God sent to safe humanity from sin, sickness and death.

So if you have not received Jesus in your life today, you must go to him now in repentance and he will surely safe you.
But if you are His already, then am sure you are enjoying this perfect health of God’s image.

Remember 3Jhn.1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that he mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosperth”
