My first month on hive

I was in my lowest when I found HIVE or will I say HIVE found me☺️

I remember always calling @readthisplease to just talk especially about my Finances and I would talk for hours complaining about how things are getting tougher, how adulthood was a scam. We had a bad investment together a few months earlier so we have been keeping in touch to keep each other afloat mentally because it was a hard time and somehow we came out stronger.

I remember that day vividly the day HIVE found me, it was over a month ago on a really hot evening and we were having one of our usual discussions about finances and he said he has been wanting to introduce me to a platform where I have to blog and earn but he doesn't know if I would have the time because I just had a baby.

Firstly I never loved the idea of blogging, writing articles, writing, in general, it feels like big brainwork which feels like stress for me, But if he was saying it could help me get my mind off things and I would engage with more people in the process and earn money too. Well, I had to give it a try and that has been the best decision I have taken this year.

I was still in doubt about the earning part till I saw the reward on my first post; my introductory post..☺️and the comments and love I got I felt at ease and comfortable that every piece of doubt disappeared.

I have learned so much from hive over the month, at first I was scared I wasn't sure if I would be accepted especially for the fact that I have no prior knowledge of cryptocurrency or any idea of what to blog about but I joined anyway and I was willing to learn.

I learned a lot from other newbies and tags related to newbies telling us what we should know like the fact that you need to engage more to gain visibility, and how I need to completely avoid plagiarism. I took all the advice I read and ensured I followed through to the last. I may not be consistent yet but I ensure I get at least 3 Posts in weekly and I know I would do better over time.

My Achievement

In my one month on hive I was able to;

• Own a Binance account, Buy and sell cryptocurrencies using my hive
• Get engaging conversation with my new friends on hive via discord.
• And according to @hive.buzz, I have made over 40 posts, 100 comments, 100 rewards, and more.
  I know it's been over a month and these achievements may look like nothing but it means so much to me.

I do not have a specific goal set for my hive journey because I know how unpredictable I can be so I would just take everything in one day at a time and share my journey and goals achieved as I go.
