A letter to my mother on her birthday

Yayyy My mum turns 58 today the 2nd of November -our sweet grandma, she is a nurse by profession she delivered me of my baby, it was so weird with the memory still fresh but I won’t have chosen any-other person to do it.

My mum is amazing and this is my letter to her on this beautiful day

Sweetest mum,

I love you so much mama, I am the luckiest person in the world right now to have a mother as you .you always put others before yourself when it comes to your family, church, friends, and most especially your job.

Mama B as everyone fondly calls you, you are the backbone of the family without you I wonder what would have happened to our family. I am sure we would be far apart and divided thanks to you we are not.

You made growing up as a child easy even when it was hard but I understood what was happening even when I acted like I knew nothing. I see you cry yourself to sleep most nights when dad wasn’t around, or how u go to sleep hungry after making sure your children ate enough. I see you go on your knees praying every day for the family when things were tough. It was so incredibly and so selfless seeing these things and these things I saw has made me a better person today. So I say thank you

Now I am an adult, having my child, I remember how you were my help, prayer partner, and comforter all through my pregnancy, and baby arrived you were my support, from cleaning my house, filling up my fridge with enough food, comforting my newborn, bathing him, ensuring I get enough rest daily, entertain me with your gist.. you made being a new mom an amazing experience.

I love you so much mom for giving me life, for loving me for who I am, for accepting my husband and loving him as much as you love me, making him the son you never had, for sacrificing so much that I can even imagine, for loving me unconditionally. You deserve so much and I can’t wait to give the world to you
But for now, I just want to say a big happy birthday
