The Islands of Personality, for those who didn't see the movie, are places inside the mind that represent the different aspects of our personality, that which define us as a person. They float above the abyss of the mental dustbin and are connected to the brain. Each island is fed by a Central Thought, a memory of major importance that is stored in our brain. If this Thought disappears, that island becomes gray and is susceptible to destruction and loss in the mental dustbin.

My family has always held a primordial place within me. It is my base and my center; and it has had, through the years, an important weight that has sustained me as a person.
