What is your concept of beauty or happiness?

Excellent day!

I love topics like this that urge us to analyze, to think carefully about certain concepts that, because of the speed at which we live, we often see them pass by without even taking into account the repercussions they may have in everyday life. I thank @rosahidalgo for offering this beautiful initiative.

There are those who have wealth and possessions as the nouns that define their happiness, there are others who find it in a sunrise or in the immaterial and for others, happiness is simply unattainable.

I particularly feel that happiness is a state that I, as a being, have decided to be in and that only I can allow myself to leave. It is not entirely in the tangible, nor does it lie in the invisible or transcendental, it is within me and will be there for as long as I choose. In other words, I build my happiness day by day with everything that gives me inner peace, giving each thing its real importance.

Happiness, in many cases we see it closely linked to beauty and beauty as well as happiness is full of subjectivity. That is to say, that what for me could be the Monument to beauty, could not fulfill other expectations or what fills you and makes you happy, I could feel it as something exaggerated and this has a simple reason and it is that we are human beings and we are guided by feelings and in most cases the judgments we make, we do them based on them.

Unfortunately, beauty in the world has always been stereotyped, directed and oriented by the media, and society has been in charge of framing it and giving it the rigor of law.

Until recently the prototype of "beauty" was a very thin model, with fine features, straight hair, preferably blonde. If you were a brunette you had to at least have delicate features in addition to being thin, (straight hair can always be achieved with the iron) and all of us who were outside that pattern were considered ugly or with little chance of being taken into account. Always leaving no room for the natural.

Nowadays curves are in fashion and the more pronounced the better. Faces of all kinds, thick lips, hair of various shapes and colors. It seems that an agreement has been made to do and accept everything that until now was "frowned upon or out of place".

Necesitamos mantenernos despiertas.

We need to stay awake. Beauty is not something that can be defined or attributed to features, body shape, skin or eye color. I don't know if you have ever met people that despite being physically unattractive, when you treat them you say, he/she is beautiful and this happens because inside they have that something that shines and is reflected in their exterior covering everything that might not be very attractive. It has also happened to me to be in contact with very attractive people (women and men) with whom I have only had the fortune of seeing them once. Their inner emptiness and lack of humanism also do their job, but in reverse.

I believe that beauty lies beyond mere physical appearance and closer to your inner light and image.
