Visitando por primera vez el Parque Arví en Medellín [Parte I] | Visiting Arví Park for the first time in Medellín [Part I]

Visitar el Parque Arví, fué una de las mejores experiencias que me pudo pasar en la vida. Todo el que viaje a Medellín debería lanzarse esta aventura porque lo vale, aunque realmente es un poco lejos pero si vas con buena compañía, el tiempo se te hará corto.

Visiting Parque Arví was one of the best experiences that could happen to me in my life. Everyone who travels to Medellin should embark on this adventure because it is worth it, although it really is a bit far but if you go with good company, time will be short.

Nuestra aventura comenzó llegando a la estación de metro. Estábamos cerca de sabaneta, así que desde aquí llegamos hasta la estación Acevedo. Cuando llegamos a Acevedo, tomamos el metro cable hasta la estación Santo Domingo y por último otro metro cable desde Santo Domingo hasta Arví. Este último fué el recorrido más largo, creo que al menos media hora en metro cable estuvimos.

Our adventure began arriving at the subway station. We were close to Sabaneta, so from here we got to the Acevedo station. When we arrived in Acevedo, we took the cable metro to the Santo Domingo station and finally another cable metro from Santo Domingo to Arví. This last one was the longest route, I think we were at least half an hour on the cable car.

Allí íbamos nosotros, ansiosos de poder estar en el Parque. En el último recorrido hace mucho frío, así que recomiendo ir abrigado, así como también recomiendo hacer este paseo desde temprano para que se aproveche el día al máximo en este espetacular paseo. El metro cable desde Santo Domingo hasta Arví tiene un costo de 11 mil pesos colombianos por lo que debes recargar tu tarjeta. Allí mismo encontras la casilla de recarga.

There we went, anxious to be in the Park. On the last tour it is very cold, so I recommend going warm, as well as doing this tour early so you can make the most of the day on this spectacular ride. The cable metro from Santo Domingo to Arví costs 11,000 Colombian pesos, so you must top up your card. Right there you find the recharge box.

Cuando llegamos dónde nos deja el metro cable. Encontramos venta de fresas con crema, frutas, empanadas, papás rellenas, dulces, ropa, accesorios y souvenir. Todo para irte equipado y poder tener energía para el paseo en el parque. Me encantaba todo, disfrutaba de la vista, aunque estábamos llenos porque ya habíamos desayunado en casa. Aseguramos que al regresar nos comeríamos las fresas con crema.

When we arrive where the cable metro leaves us. We find sale of strawberries with cream, fruits, empanadas, stuffed potatoes, sweets, clothing, accessories and souvenirs. Everything to leave equipped and be able to have energy for the walk in the park. I loved everything, I enjoyed the view, even though we were full because we had already had breakfast at home. We assured that when we returned we would eat the strawberries with cream.

Aproveché para hacerme fotos en donde dice yo amo Medellin. Y continuamos nuestro camino. Desde que entramos se veía la espectacular naturaleza pero también aunque no se note, estaba muriéndome del frío, no caería mal un buen cafecito. Todo era nuevo para mi y por eso quería hacerme fotos en todo lugar.

I took the opportunity to take photos where it says I love Medellin. And we continue on our way. From the moment we entered, you could see the spectacular nature but also, although it is not noticeable, I was dying of the cold, a good coffee would not hurt. Everything was new to me and that's why I wanted to take pictures of myself everywhere.

Caminábamos y disfrutábamos de todo lo que había aquí. Algunas cosas nos dejaban sorprendidos. Este parque es turístico, por eso mucha gente desea visitarlo. Lo que más me gustó fué disfrutar de las atracciones, para las cuales tuvimos acceso por haber pagado nuestra entrada al parque de 20000 pesos colombianos.

We walked and enjoyed everything that was here. Some things surprised us. This park is touristic, that's why many people want to visit it. What I liked the most was enjoying the attractions, for which we had access for having paid our entrance to the park of 20,000 Colombian pesos.

Aunque para llegar al parque como tal, tuvimos que tomar un bus, no pagamos pasaje porque al haber pagado el metro cable nos daba acceso a este. Y en el bus, llegábamos directamente al parque Arví donde pudimos disfrutar toda una aventura. Todo en grupo era mejor.

Although to get to the park as such, we had to take a bus, we did not pay a ticket because having paid for the cable metro gave us access to it. And on the bus, we arrived directly at the Arví park where we could enjoy an adventure. Everything in a group was better.

Al llegar a la entrada y continuar, nos preguntaron si queríamos disfrutar de la tirolesa y todos estos deportes un poco extremos. Esto nos emocionaba y por supuesto queríamos hacerlo. Así que tomamos nuestro turno y tuvimos que esperar pero mientras tanto podíamos seguir conociendo y disfrutando de Arví y sus alrededores.

Arriving at the entrance and continuing, they asked us if we wanted to enjoy the zip line and all these somewhat extreme sports. This excited us and of course we wanted to do it. So we took our turn and we had to wait but in the meantime we could continue knowing and enjoying Arví and its surroundings.

No conocía si tenía alguna historia y no había nadie dándola a conocer. Deben venir preparados para caminar bastante. El bus no tarda en llegar y siempre llega uno a cargar personas para llevarlas a Arví. Ya les estaré mostrando una segunda parte de mi paseo por este increíble Parque que conocí. Tiene mucho para disfrutar y para hacer excelentes fotografías.

I did not know if he had any history and there was no one making it known. They must come prepared to do a lot of walking. The bus does not take long to arrive and one always arrives to load people to take them to Arví. I will be showing you a second part of my walk through this incredible Park that I met. It has a lot to enjoy and to take great pictures.
