Disfrutando de deliciosos menús en los llanos venezolanos | Enjoying delicious menus in the Venezuelan plains

Mis días en Apure son fantásticos, me encanta venir aquí y compartir con toda la familia. Todos son muy buenos conmigo y tengo buenos amigos por estos lados. Cada día que salimos es totalmente una aventura, lo importante es siempre sonreír. Me gusta mucho el sazón para cocinar de mi familia y por supuesto de mi amigo Luis quien tiene su negocio y vende las mejores hamburguesas del pueblo El Amparo.

My days in Apure are fantastic, I love coming here and spending time with the whole family. They are all very good to me and I have good friends around here. Every day we go out is totally an adventure, the important thing is to always smile. I really like the cooking seasoning of my family and of course my friend Luis who has his business and sells the best hamburgers in the town of El Amparo.

Este día comenzó con el plan de pasar a Arauca a hacer las diligencias, todas las ocupaciones pendientes. Ya les he mostrado en otras oportunidades que para cruzar la Frontera hacia Colombia lo hacemos por medio de canoa, es como una especie de bote con motor, dónde se montan todas las personas y nos trasladamos hacía el otro lado. Da un poco de nervios pero al final te acostumbras.

This day began with the plan to go to Arauca to do the errands, all the pending tasks. I have already shown you on other occasions that to cross the border into Colombia we do it by means of a canoe, it is like a kind of boat with a motor, where all the people get on and we move to the other side. It's a little nerve wracking but eventually you get used to it.

En Arauca hace mucho calor y en El Amparo, Venezuela también. La verdad es que lo mejor es vestirse con ropa cómoda y no abrigada, aunque recibes sol y te vas poniendo más morenito. Así que luego de culminar todo y comprar una botella de agua para hidratarnos un poco, nos dispusimos para almorzar en casa de la abuela los deliciosos menús que prepara mi tía, el de ese día fué pollo guisado con pasta, arroz y ensalada de tomate con cebolla.

In Arauca it is very hot and in El Amparo, Venezuela too. The truth is that it is best to dress in comfortable clothes and not warm, although you get sun and you get morenito. So after finishing everything and buying a bottle of water to hydrate ourselves a little, we got ready to have lunch at Grandma's house with the delicious menus that my aunt prepares, that day's was stewed chicken with pasta, rice and tomato salad with onion.

Cada día aquí es bueno y siempre estamos disfrutando de deliciosos platos, somos bendecidos por estos. Por ejemplo para cenar mi amigo Luis preparó un delicioso sándwich de carne desmechada, tocineta, jamón, queso y huevo, además de las salsas. La verdad estaba muy delicioso y yo feliz de poder disfrutar de una de las increíbles preparaciones que el hace. Importante tostar el pan, esto le da un toque exquisito.

Every day here is good and we are always enjoying delicious dishes, we are blessed by these. For example, for dinner my friend Luis prepared a delicious sandwich with shredded meat, bacon, ham, cheese and egg, in addition to the sauces. The truth was that it was very delicious and I was happy to be able to enjoy one of the incredible preparations that he makes. It is important to toast the bread, this gives it an exquisite touch.

Luego de todos si nos fuimos a qué mi amigo Luis se tatuara. Asistimos donde su amigo Miguel y nuestra tarde se pasó allá ya que este proceso es largo. Yo solo ponía música, observaba y escuchaba hasta que por fin el estuviese tatuado y pudiésemos devolvernos a casa. Sin embargo, primero le dije a Luis que fuéramos a un supermercado a comprar algunas cosas más económicas aquí para aprovechar que estábamos en Arauca.

After all, we went to have my friend Luis get a tattoo. We attended where his friend Miguel and our afternoon was spent there since this process is long. I just played music, watched and listened until finally he was tattooed and we could go home. However, first I told Luis that we should go to a supermarket to buy some cheaper things here to take advantage of the fact that we were in Arauca.

Y como siempre vamos Arauca, estoy feliz porque mi prima Zareth llegó de visita también. Esto me pone más feliz aún porque pasó increíbles momentos con ella. Quiero quedarme unos días más y poder compartir con todos. Estoy fascinada de los platos de mi tía Karime. Esto fué todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado. Un abrazo

And as we always go to Arauca, I am happy because my cousin Zareth came to visit as well. This makes me even happier because he had an amazing time with her.
