¡Hola Chicos!

Tomé mi bicicleta y salí a comprar.

Hey guys!

Good to start, a greeting to all the members of this curious community. I discovered it reviewing posts in the #hive feed and I thought it was cool to start today with my first post because it coincided with my shopping day.

I go out to buy things almost every day, but Fridays are a special day because they are the days I make the biggest purchases, where I prepare myself so I don't have to go out on weekends and have enough for the start of the next .

I took my bike and went shopping.

It was drizzling a bit, but I had faith that the weather would improve.

My urbanization consists of 11 streets full of houses with the same design. For those who visit it for the first time, they are a bit confused because all the streets look very similar.

What I like about here is that there are shops on almost every street, from greengrocers to grocery stores and butchers.

You don't have to go far to find everything you need.

The plan was to go to 3 stores, the greengrocer, the butcher and the grocery store.

The first stop was the greengrocer where I bought some vegetables and fruits to make juices to accompany our meals. I'm super stuck with passion fruit juice. ♥

In this same greengrocer they sell groceries, but most of the things are more expensive from the other store that I usually visit, so I only bought a cornmeal and went to the next stop.

At this point the rain had already started and it was not possible for me to take out the camera to photograph the site, but I promise you that for the next purchase if I show you.

I bought ground beef to make a pasta sauce and shredded meat.

Unfortunately, the rain interrupted the purchases, but tomorrow we will continue and I hope to share the rest of my weekend purchases. ♥

I invite you all to participate in this fun proposal called #MarketFriday by @dswigle. 😊

Welcome to #MarketFriday! I was trying to figure out where we were! It helps to know as we compare items and prices to see how our prices compare to the world. Plus what we eat! It is not limited to grocery shopping, but, I put the guidelines to make it easier for you at the bottom of this message!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.

Thank you for remembering the rules again, I hope to do better for my presentation next Friday 😊 and this time if I put the prices, which is the only thing I see that could be missing. Greetings and thanks!
