¡Hola Chicos!
Estoy haciendo limpieza de fin de año y una que para mi es súper importante porque está a punto que explota es la de mi teléfono jajaja no se imaginan la cantidad de fotos que tengo por mi trabajo, tanto así que tengo 5Gb de espacio libre y es un teléfono de 128.
He pasado los últimos días subiendo fotos a las redes, borrando otras y acomodando todo para poder liberar la memoria para este nuevo año. Dentro de todo esto me encontré con estas fotos que fueron de un taller que ocurrió en el mes de septiembre.
La chica del centro comercial donde he realizado varias actividades me envió un mensaje un día por la noche para preguntarme que si estaba libre para ese fin de semana pues quería hacer una actividad para celebrar el día del artista plástico.
Como estábamos pasando por una mala racha en el negocio quería hacer cualquier cosa que me permitiera darle publicidad, es por eso que acepté de inmediato.
Ella me preguntó para ver cual actividad se podía hacer que fuera llamativa y diferente, y a mi se me ocurrió hacer una de pintar con plastilina. A ella le sonó la idea, así que planificamos todo y pautamos para ese sábado.

I'm doing some end-of-year cleaning, and one task that's super important to me because it's about to explode is cleaning my phone, haha. You can't imagine the number of photos I have from work; I only have 5GB of free space, and it's a 128GB phone.
I've spent the last few days uploading photos to social media, deleting others, and organizing everything to free up memory for the new year. While doing all this, I came across these photos from a workshop that took place in September.
The woman from the mall where I've done several activities messaged me one evening to ask if I was free that weekend because she wanted to do an activity to celebrate Visual Artist Day.
Since we were going through a rough patch at the business, I wanted to do anything that would give it some publicity, so I accepted immediately.
She asked me what kind of activity we could do that would be eye-catching and different, and I suggested painting with modeling clay. She liked the idea, so we planned everything and scheduled it for that Saturday.
El día anterior a la actividad decidí hacer una muestra para que quienes participaran supieran exactamente qué era lo que debían hacer ya que era algo completamente diferente a lo acostumbrado.
Esto me llevó bastante tiempo, sobre todo porque a mi me gusta hacer las cosas lo mejor que se pueda. El resultado no fue el mejor del mundo, pero fue aceptable para mi. Me inspiré en la obra de Romero Britto.
The day before the activity, I decided to do a demonstration so that the participants would know exactly what they had to do, since it was something completely different from what they were used to.
This took me quite a while, mainly because I like to do things as well as possible. The result wasn't perfect, but it was acceptable to me. I was inspired by the work of Romero Britto.
Al otro día como a la 1 de la tarde salimos de casa mi hijo y yo para el centro comercial. La actividad era a las 3 pero a mi me gusta estar con anticipación así puedo organizar todo y prevenir cualquier eventualidad.
Cuando llegamos le envié a la chica y me dijo que aún estaba en su casa. Entonces nos pusimos a pasear dentro del centro comercial para hacer tiempo y no estar simplemente esperando.
The next day, around 1 p.m., my son and I left home for the mall. The activity was at 3 p.m., but I like to arrive early so I can organize everything and prevent any problems.
When we arrived, I sent a message to the girl, and she told me she was still at home. So we started walking around the mall to kill time and not just wait around.
Seguían pasando los minutos y ahí se me ocurrió irle a comprar un helado a mi hijo ya que teníamos mucho tiempo sin ir al centro comercial y ahí venden unos que nos gustan mucho.
Pedimos el de siempre y fue súper decepcionante al ver que bajaron la cantidad de helado que servían al igual que el sirop. Además estaba un poco más costoso.
Pero pues ya lo habíamos pagado y no quedaba de otro más que disfrutarlo. Nos fuimos hasta la feria de comida un rato y de ahí estábamos era conversando que haríamos luego pues se notaba que iba para largo la espera.
En el próximo post les seguiré contando como culminó ese día, que la verdad fue súper decepcionante y un poco estresante.
The minutes kept ticking by, and that's when it occurred to me to go buy my son some ice cream since we hadn't been to the mall in ages, and they sell some we really like there.
We ordered our usual, and it was super disappointing to see they'd reduced the amount of ice cream they served, as well as the syrup. Plus, it was a bit more expensive.
But we'd already paid for it, so we had no choice but to enjoy it. We went to the food court for a while, and then we were just talking about what we'd do next, since it was clear the wait was going to be long.
In the next post, I'll tell you more about how that day ended, which was honestly super disappointing and a little stressful.
