Primera clase del 2026 || First class of 2026 ♥
¡Hola Chicos!
Iniciamos un nuevo período en el Lakrearte y bueno, han sido días difíciles pues como ya les he venido hablando en otros post, el país está pasando por una época de mucha incertidumbre, además que enero siempre suele ser un mes rudo, pero a mi no me había tocado vivirlo en el negocio hasta ahora.
Debo confesar que siento la misma ansiedad que sentí durante septiembre y estoy tratando de luchar contra todo eso pues luego de haber hecho un ajuste en los precios de las clases no sabía con qué me iba a encontrar.
Yo como de costumbre pasé un mensaje a todos por los grupos para recordar la clase del día y bueno, me lancé a confiar en el proceso. En cuanto a la planificación del contenido, estuve trabajando por varios días en ella. Aún me falta terminar de afinar unos detalles, pero a eso le dedicaremos el resto del día de hoy para dedicarnos a otras cositas que también requieren de mi atención.

We're starting a new period at Lakrearte, and well, it's been a tough few days. As I've mentioned in other posts, the country is going through a very uncertain time, and January is always a challenging month, but I hadn't experienced this in the business until now.
I must confess that I feel the same anxiety I felt in September, and I'm trying to fight it all. After adjusting the class prices, I didn't know what to expect.
As usual, I sent a message to everyone in the groups to remind them about today's class, and well, I decided to trust the process. Regarding the content planning, I've been working on it for several days. I still need to finalize a few details, but we'll dedicate the rest of today to that so we can focus on other things that also require my attention.
Al llegar al local me tocó recoger un pequeño desorden que había quedado del taller que hice a inicios de año, que dejé así porque habíamos salido súper tarde.
Acomodé el mantel en la mesa, ya que lo había traído a la casa para limpiar y debía acomodarlo de nuevo en su lugar. En esto me ayudó mi hijo y aunque quedó con varias manchas aún, está mucho más limpio que el año pasado jaja.
Ese día asistieron 4 alumnas, para dos de ellas me habían confirmado sus representantes días antes y las otras dos fueron una grata sorpresa el haberlas visto nuevamente.
Me llevé la sorpresa acá de que una no quiso asistir y esto me dio indicios de que problablemente no seguiría. Esto me sintió un poco pero no hay manera, es parte del proceso.
When I arrived at the studio, I had to clean up a bit of a mess left over from the workshop I held at the beginning of the year, which I'd left because we'd finished super late.
I straightened the tablecloth on the table, since I'd brought it home to clean and needed to put it back in its place. My son helped me with this, and although it still has a few stains, it's much cleaner than last year, haha.
That day, four students attended. Two of them had been confirmed by their parents a few days prior, and the other two were a pleasant surprise to see again.
I was surprised to learn that one of them didn't want to attend, which gave me the impression that she probably wouldn't continue. This bothered me a little, but there's no way around it; it's part of the process.
Durante la clase estuvimos poniéndonos al día con sus vivencias durante la navidad, lo que les dieron de regalos y esas cositas. Ellas estuvieron bien entusiasmada a la hora de contar con lujo de detalles todo lo vivido.
En cuanto a la actividad del día ninguna pudo terminar pero avanzaron lo suficiente para poder terminar en la próxima clase.
During class, we caught up on their Christmas experiences, what gifts they received, and things like that. They were very enthusiastic in sharing every detail of their experiences.
As for today's activity, none of them were able to finish, but they made enough progress to complete it in the next class.
Cuando salí ya todas las tiendas habían cerrado en mi piso. Los ánimos siguen algo bajos durante esta semana a mi parecer. El centro de la ciudad se siente algo solo.
When I left, all the shops in my building had already closed. Spirits are still rather low this week, it seems to me. The city center feels somewhat deserted.
Ya luego de esto me fui hasta la parada del transporte, acá me encontré sentado en una de las bancas al señor que me trae a casa de vez en cuando que vive en mi misma urbanización.
El me pidió esperar un poco hasta que llegaran otras personas y yo no tuve problema así que me senté a disfrutar un poco el ambiente tranquilo.
De regreso a casa él estuvo hablándome también de lo que había vivido los últimos días ya que no lo veía desde el 24 de diciembre cuando me fue a buscar en el centro mientras hacía unas diligencias.
En sus cuentos se notaba bastante frustrado por lo que vivimos actualmente en la economía del país, el alza de precios y unas cuantas deudas que adquirió recientemente. Como venezolanos es difícil a veces mantenerse firmes ante las crisis y de vez en cuando es bueno sacar eso de la mente y contarlo a otra persona para aligerar la carga.
Desde mi posición lo aconsejé y bueno ya luego llegamos a casa. Fue un día de muchas enseñanzas y reflexión.
After that, I went to the bus stop, where I found the man who occasionally gives me rides home sitting on one of the benches. He lives in the same neighborhood as me.
He asked me to wait a bit until other people arrived, and I didn't mind, so I sat down to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
On the way home, he also told me about what he had been going through the last few days, since I hadn't seen him since December 24th when he picked me up downtown while I was running some errands.
In his stories, he seemed quite frustrated by the current state of the country's economy, the rising prices, and some debts he had recently acquired. As Venezuelans, it's sometimes difficult to stay strong in the face of crises, and every now and then it's good to get those feelings off your chest and talk to someone else to lighten the load.
From my perspective, I gave him some advice, and then we arrived home. It was a day of many lessons and reflections.

Todos nos Venezolanos nos sentimos llenos de incertidumbre, pero tenemos que seguir adelante con la mejor actitud, haciendo lo que nos gusta y esperando que la economía mejore.
