Lakrearte en las escuelas (Parte II)
¡Hola Chicos!
Revisando los borradores que tenía acá en mi blog me voy dando cuenta que me salté el terminar de contarles como nos fue en el taller que impartimos en una escuela, así que hoy les voy con el cuento.
Compartimos en dos oportunidades abordando dos temas importantes en el desarrollo artístico de los chicos. El primer día trabajamos con los tipos de composición y para el segundo día, que fue a la semana siguiente, trabajamos con el puntillismo.
El primer día si tome muchas fotos pero en el segundo me enfoqué más en grabar, y como he tenido problemas al momento de subir los gifs desde mi teléfono, decidí mejor dejar a un lado ese día y contarles todo con el material el que cuento.

While reviewing the drafts I had here on my blog, I realized I skipped finishing telling you about the workshop we gave at a school, so today I'm going to tell you all about it.
We shared the experience on two occasions, covering two important topics in the children's artistic development. The first day we worked on types of composition, and the second day, which was the following week, we worked on pointillism.
I took a lot of photos the first day, but on the second day I focused more on recording, and since I've had problems uploading GIFs from my phone, I decided to leave that day out and tell you everything with the footage I have.
Esos días tocaba salir de casa desde bien temprano ya que el colegio quedaba casi a la entrada de la ciudad de Cabimas y me tocaba agarrar dos carros para poder llegar.
Despertaba, desayunaba, me arreglaba y luego salía con todo listo para ir a mi destino.
Antes de ir al colegio hacia una parada en una panadería cercana para comprarme un jugo pequeño. Esto me ayudaba a terminar de despertarme porque no soy una persona de rutinas matutinas y al terminarlo me iba directo hasta el colegio.
Those days I had to leave home very early because the school was almost at the entrance to the city of Cabimas, and I had to take two buses to get there.
I would wake up, have breakfast, get ready, and then leave with everything ready for school.
Before going to school, I would stop at a nearby bakery to buy a small juice. This helped me fully wake up because I'm not a person who follows morning routines, and after I finished it, I would go straight to school.
Al llegar los niños me recibían con mucha emoción y luego de dar las respectivas instrucciones ellos comenzaban a trabajar.
Eran casi 30 niños, por lo que tocaba ir caminando y haciendo sus respectivas correcciones porque así como había unos que captaban la idea a la primera, a otros les costaba un poco más.
When I arrived, the children greeted me with great excitement, and after I gave them the necessary instructions, they began to work.
There were almost 30 children, so I had to walk around and make corrections as they worked, because while some grasped the concept immediately, others took a little longer.
En todo momento conté con el apoyo de su maestra, quien al escuchar mis instrucciones me iba brindando el apoyo con algunos niños.
Así logramos desarrollar perfectamente ambas actividades, dónde todos los niños hicieron unos trabajos increíbles.
Muchos me abrazaban felices, me comentaban que nos veríamos pronto en la academia y así finalizamos estás jornadas de talleres.
En la última visita salió a relucir la idea de que me iban a invitar a una excursión que tendrían para el cierre de proyecto, y esto me emocionó mucho.
Pero la vida tenía otros planes, en un próximo post les contaré que fue lo que pasó con ese cierre de proyecto.
Throughout the entire process, I had the support of their teacher, who, after listening to my instructions, assisted me with some of the children.
In this way, we were able to carry out both activities perfectly, and all the children did incredible work.
Many of them hugged me happily, telling me that we would see each other soon at the academy, and that's how these workshop sessions came to a close.
During the last visit, the idea came up that they were going to invite me on a field trip they were planning for the project's end, and this excited me greatly.
But life had other plans. In a future post, I'll tell you what happened with that project's end.
