Hoy les contaré cómo terminamos celebrando el cumpleaños del hijo de un primo de mi esposo. Hace algunos años durante una navidad nos enteramos que este pequeño iba a nacer.
Él es hijo de un primo que se crió con mi esposo pero que ya tiene algo de tiempo en el exterior. Antes de eso se habÃa mudado junto a su esposa y su otro hijo en la urbanización que queda junto a la nuestra pero los veÃamos muy poco.
Ellos luego se mudaron de esa casa y se fueron a la otra urbanización que queda junto a la nuestra. Desde entonces los vemos con menos frecuencia que antes.
La semana pasada el tÃo de mi esposo, quien siempre está muy pendiente de nosotros y que cumple un papel de abuelo en la vida del pequeño cumpleañero me escribió para decirme que querÃa llevar a mi hijo para celebrar su cumpleaños, que era el 23 de diciembre.
Como el se tenÃa que regresar a casa temprano le dije para ir con ellos y asà luego volver a casa con mi hijo, pues no tenÃa idea de dónde estaban viviendo exactamente y asà convivÃamos un rato con ellos.
Asà que nos arreglamos y luego nos paso buscando en un su carro el tÃo de mi esposo para ir a la celebración.

Today I'll tell you how we ended up celebrating the birthday of my husband's cousin's son. A few years ago, during Christmas, we found out this little boy was going to be born.
He's the son of a cousin who grew up with my husband but has been living abroad for some time now. Before that, he had moved with his wife and other son to the gated community next to ours, but we saw them very little.
They later moved from that house to the other gated community next to ours. Since then, we see them even less often than before.
Last week, my husband's uncle, who is always very attentive to us and acts as a grandfather figure to the little birthday boy, wrote to me to say he wanted to bring my son to celebrate his birthday, which was on December 23rd.
Since he had to go home early, I suggested we go with them so I could go back home with my son later. I had no idea exactly where they were living, and this way we could spend some time with them.
So we got ready, and then my husband's uncle picked us up in his car to go to the celebration.

When we arrived at the apartment, we realized we were the first guests to arrive, and the birthday boy hadn't even gotten dressed for the celebration yet.
So we sat on the terrace waiting for more people to arrive so we could get started.
La sala del apartamento era extremadamente pequeña, habÃa apenas espacio para colocar la decoración, algunos dulces y la torta de cumpleaños.

So the gathering was going to be held on a small terrace on the same floor, which also housed three other apartments.

El pequeño Alan ya se habÃa puesto su ropa para celebrar y la temática era de Roblox. Al cabo de un rato llegaron todos los niños y todo fue risas, bailes y comer dulces. No tengo fotos pero se hizo un juego casi a finalizar todo y fuimos tratados de una manera muy atenta por parte de la esposa del primo de mi esposo y su mamá.
Compartà también con las vecinas de ellos que luego las vi al siguiente dÃa y me saludaron con mucho amor. Fue una tarde noche diferente y me alegró poder ayudarles arreglando todo y hasta tomando las fotos del recuerdo. ♥
Little Alan was already dressed up for the party, and the theme was Roblox. After a while, all the children arrived, and it was all laughter, dancing, and eating sweets. I don't have any pictures, but they played a game near the end, and we were treated very kindly by my husband's cousin's wife and his mother.
I also spent time with their neighbors, whom I saw again the next day, and they greeted me warmly. It was a unique afternoon and evening, and I was happy to help them by setting everything up and even taking some photos to remember the occasion. ♥
