¡Hola Chicos!
Falta un solo dÃa para Halloween y como les comenté dÃas antes, querÃa compartir con ustedes algunas entradas para mi blog relacionadas con la fecha. Me quedé un poco corta de tiempo y no podrán ser tantas como quisiera, pero estoy conforme con ello porque igual tengo el dÃa de mañana para hacer el tercer post de Halloween.
Aunque no es un ojo netamente malévolo, si nos da ese aire de misterio y cierta oscuridad. El diseño fue bien improvisado al igual que los colores utilizados. Mi hijo me dijo que parecÃa el ojo de los personajes de Avatar 😂, pero esta no era mi intensión.
A continuación les cuento el proceso para lograr esta pintura.

There is only one day left until Halloween and as I mentioned days before, I wanted to share with you some entries for my blog related to the date. I was a bit short of time and it may not be as many as I would like, but I am happy with it because I still have tomorrow to do the third Halloween post.
Although it is not a clearly malevolent eye, it does give us that air of mystery and a certain darkness. The design was well improvised as were the colors used. My son told me that it looked like the eye of the Avatar characters 😂, but this was not my intention.
Next I tell you the process to achieve this painting.
Primero tracé la silueta a lápiz.
I first drew the silhouette in pencil.
Pinté con un tono amarillo muy claro la parte blanca del ojo (no tengo idea de como se llama esta parte). Hice un degradado agregando un poco más de blanco.
I painted the white part of the eye with a very light yellow tone (I have no idea what this part is called). I made a gradient by adding a little more white.
La parte de color del ojo la pinté amarillo y la pupila haciendo un degrades en tonos grises.
I painted the colored part of the eye yellow and the pupil making a gradient in gray tones.
Acá me dejé llevar un poco y no documenté el proceso hasta este punto. En la parte de color del ojo estuve haciendo pequeños detalles en negro, pinté la piel de un tono verde azulado, nada parejo, todo bien descuidado y colorido.
Luego hice un poco de sombras y pliegues con el negro.
Here I got carried away a bit and did not document the process up to this point. In the colored part of the eye I was making small details in black, I painted the skin in a bluish green tone, nothing even, everything well neglected and colorful.
Then I did some shadows and creases with the black.
Pinté el fondo de un azul intenso e hice detalles con un pincel de cerdas abiertas, haciendo pequeños toques.
I painted the background a deep blue and made details with an open-bristle brush, making small touches.
Por último hice algunas luces con el amarillo y un poco de blanco. También hice algunas venas finas de color rojo en el ojo e hice luces en la pupila.
Finally I made some lights with yellow and a little white. I also made some fine red veins in the eye and made highlights in the pupil.
