Greetings friends of #fascinatinginsects it is a real pleasure for me to be with you to bring you these beautiful images of a beautiful and small spider that I was able to photograph in the garden has a yellowish color and its small size makes it look nice.

It is a "jumping or fly catching" spider belonging to the family Salticidae. It is the largest family with a large number of species. These spiders commonly feed on flies and have great ability to jump at high speed over their prey, move cautiously from one place to another, and can travel long distances. They do not build webs and their bodies appear to be covered with hairs. They usually hunt by day and inhabit forests, deserts, tropical forests, among others.

As for their vision, they have two types of eyes, the ocelli that allow them to see their forehead at short and long distances. On the other hand, the secondary eyes allow them to extend their panoramic vision, approximately 360 degrees.

Females feed their young for 40 days with a very nutritious milk-like liquid until their young are ready to start their lives on their own. They are poisonous to their prey but not to humans because the amount of venom is not enough to poison a person.

As for mating, males perform a kind of courtship with zip-zap dances to attract the attention of the female. When the female chooses her mate she crouches down and the male mounts on top of her to mate. Our world and nature make our lives very special at times like this.
