fantastic Sunday morning run
Sunday morning was overcast and fresh. Fortunately, the wind was not strong and the run was pure joy.
My wife suggested that we go together by car to the river Sava and then run (me) and walk (Puma and her) by the river and meet in an hour. A great idea it was. Thank you!
At first, I took the maintained gravel path to the east to make the run a bit longer.
Then I turned back and ran across the fields where I disturbed a huge flock of sparrows feasting on seeds.
There are still some vegetables on the fields. Cabbage, lettuce, and sorts ...
In the meantime, my wife and Puma were walking on a parallel path closer to the river.
I was still following the tarmac road across the fields with Šmarna gora on the horizon.
A field was full of sunflowers. Marvelous!
Finally, the forest path began. Fantastic!
I came to the Sava and followed its right bank.
Here I had to find the path with its entrance blocked with fallen trees.
Isn't this great?
Even when there is no sun paths like this one are heaven to me.
Obstacles were easy to overcome.
Whitewater on the Sava was singing its lovely song.

You're doing great, and you've gotten the Mrs on board too.
:)))) She's always on board. Right now we're going out on an afternoon doggy hike with three dogs.
Sunday well spent!
What a wonderful part of the world you live in.
Thank you.
Yes, I am lucky to live here.
Yet, you have some beautiful places to run too :)
Ps: do you know this book?
It's not exactly your area yet the book paints a wonderful image of the Cairngorms. Well worth reading and rereading.
No I don’t but i’m always looking for a good book so i’m going to order it. Thank you :)
I hope you'll like it. It's kind of strange to describe. Philosophy, poetry in prose, travel/hike diary. I'll reread it when I finish the Dune books :)
