active Sunday [poprzeczka #21]
Weekend in Kočevje MTB centre and around. The goal was, besides to have lots of fun, to reach an @actifit count of over 21 K.
I wanted to run long this morning anyway. I took the phone with me to document the area and count my steps. Double gain.
It was a misty yet warm morning.
I found some wonderful spots like the view over Kočevje lake above.
This pine forest was a highlight of the run.
After the run and breakfast, my wife and I went cycling on the tarmac road uphill to the mountain hut by Deer's Creek.
A reward for the climb was ample. Apple strudl, tiramisu, coffee.
Not really needed yet welcome addition to the count were three doggy walks around the biking centre. A view from the slope.
As a result, almost 32 K were counted. More than enough. The next #poprzeczka challenge comes on Wednesday with 24 K needed.
