Paper Anniversary Gift

My wife & I recently celebrated our first anniversary (12/6). I wanted to make it special. First anniversary is said to be “paper” so along with the black diamonds & other smaller gifts, I got creative with the ‘paper’ motif & gifted her something unique. Looking for ideas online I stumbled upon a site that makes custom star maps posterhaste.com. There are several places to get this done, this was just one of many. I punched in few details & it presented a star map as seen from the date/time/place of our wedding. I added the phrase “Love Written In The Stars” at the top & our names & the date of our marriage at the bottom. It was late getting here so while I gave her everything else on the day I told her she would have to wait on this one. This past Tuesday, while we were out closing on our house, UPS left several packages at our door. The largest of which was the star map. She opened it & immediately choked up, started crying (something she RARELY does), & wrapped her arms around me. Her reaction was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. She loved it. We haven’t hung it yet, as we’re in the process of moving. Nevertheless, she looks at it every day and smiles. Money well spent.
