Why Would HIVE Or LEO Be Different?

avatar

It is amazing to see how people are literally killing themselves chasing crypto gems, hoping to catch it early, willing to invest and risk almost everything they have hoping to be millionaires in a week or two if possible. Now that HIVE is making new ATHs every week, we see some changes in the community. New users are flowing in, dropouts are coming back and we see posts about HIVE going to the moon every day. LEO is legging a bit behind, but this is not a bad thing, on the contrary. It's actually a very good thing if you can see how things work.

What Are You Looking For?

This is the big question to which we obviously know the answer already. Everyone wants to find the next gem that can make them millionaires if not billionaires.

So what do you do when you're looking into a coin you'd like to invest? You look at the fundamentals, then you check the technicals, after which you find the right time to invest.

Fundamentals

If you've been here with me for the past three or four years (or even longer), I don't have to tell you about Hive fundamentals. If you're new, you'd rather DYOR as what I would say would still need to be checked out as rules say don't trust anyone. As far as I'm concerned, I don't know any other similar platform out there that would have stronger fundamentals honestly.

The first couple of years on the old chain were pretty bumpy but were still good as we at least knew what is not working and what needed to be changed. After we forked, we had the opportunity to adjust things, speed up development and do things the right way. I don't think anyone knew back then what is going to come, but we had faith and here we are.

Technicals

Have you ever seen a technical analysis like that? I don't think so, but you don't have to be a TA expert to see what I mean here, when has been the best time to enter. It's really not so difficult. We've had roughly one year to buy and/or accumulate cheap HIVE.

I remember people leaving the platform for various reasons, among which the most obvious was because HIVE was 💩 for them. Why waste time for $0.1/HIVE. Those were the happy times (rewards distributed to less and less users).

Where Are We Now?

Fast forward, we've been through what we've been through and here we are at the beginning of December 2021. But where are we in the HIVE's cycle? That is a very good question.

We're at the point where people are coming back because HIVE has value! Yes, that's right, HIVE has value because the price of HIVE is getting higher and higher.

Looking at the two charts, what do you think, where is HIVE right now? Those who have been here all along know the answer, we've always known. There has not been Disbelief phase on our chart and there will be no Panic or Anger phase for us when HIVE is going to correct next year.

LEO and CUB are still in the Disbelief phase, which is great, we still have time to prepare for what is yet to come.

What I'm Expecting

So are people late to the party? Not at all, on the contrary! Looking at HIVE's chart, we need more candles to be printed to see where is the next buy zone, but in general, I think we're at the Hope phase, so still very early.

We're approaching the Optimism phase, followed by Belief, where we're going to see more users flowing in, some old, some new, then will come the Thrill phase and Euphoria.

The rest will be really fun to witness as those joining late will go through Complacency, Anxiety, Denial and Panic. These phases will not exist for us as we know what's coming and we are ok with it as this is not just a quick scalp trade. It's a long term investment, maybe for life, who knows.

So my question is, why do people look at HIVE differently? Why are they willing to trust 💩 tokens with no fundamentals and not HIVE?

Looks like you've made the right choice twice. LEO was 4 HIVE once, now it's really cheap, which is a good occasion to invest. CUB as well. As about Steemit, better not talk about it.

Totally nice as long as you are wrong but you are usually not. Meanwhile I keep myself busy enough with constructive things to have any space for contrarianism 🙂

My take on crypto's is rather simple:
Those who have not passed through the days of ANGER and Depression, do NOT deserve to taste the benefits of Thrill and Euphoria.

Better yet - if you have gone through this cycle more than once.

Yeah but those who haven't felt the sting of the bear market get super wrecked when it actually pops up.
Should be fun to witness.
Crypto Twitter gonna be downright hilarious.

I guess it's inevitable, at some point you have to go through those phases. With such a high volatility as in crypto, at some point you get the slaps anyway, no matter how good you think you are. But it's not a bad thing as it makes you learn more.

We are definitely at hope phase.
Lot's of hopium out there.
Of course if we crash to $1.50 many will change their tune and be like "well i guess that was the sucker's rally"

Either way it's hard to imagine a sustained dump with everything going on around here.

I agree, there will no be sustained dump as those who have been here from the beginning are not going to dump, they are going to buy up weak hand dumps. Those who are only coming back now because of the price will not have much to dump and will leave after things calm down.

Will be interesting to see this cycle.
