It depends on your garden space, is it is small space tomatoes do well in pots or in the garden, if you have the room onions, squash of all types. It also depends on the growing season where you live.

I love a home-grown tomato, especially eaten straight from the plant 😍. THey do well in pots, too, and I notice that there are new types being bred for small spaces.
Yes they have but even the old ones do well in 3 to 5 gallon pot. We are living in a apartment right now so we do balcony garden and most crops do well in pots. We grow lettuce, tomatoes peppers, cauliflower, and herbs
