i tried to capture the stars.
did you know?
I've never seen shooting stars.
Sometimes, I'd watch the night sky—sometimes the early morning, dark sky—in hopes I'd chance upon some rogue star drawing down its vastness, but the attempts have been unsuccessful so far. Then there are evenings like a week ago, when the clouds have cleared up, and the sun was beautifully setting.
I was outside, armed with my phone (a trusty beautiful S23 Ultra), which is said to be capable of astrophotography. Unfortunately, I'm in a location constantly bombarded by lights, despite being in a rural place. (Light pollution, it's called, I think.) Attempts at astrophotography won't be as great, but I wanted to see what I can work on.
But I tried taking my shot, editing the raws in Lightroom, and now here they are. I don't think I'll be able to ever bring justice to the beauty that the stars were that evening.
Maybe, in the next few days, I'll try again. I'll see if I can manage to turn off majority of the light sources there are, so I can take night photos with longer exposure.
Until then!
