Queen of hearts, loved by many, hated by few.
Greetings my beloved ones. I hope to find you all in good health.
When I saw this challenge I automatically thought of the Queen of Hearts, that childhood cartoon of Alice in Wonderland, although it looks like a fusion between her and an animated character from Maleficent.
But the author of the challenge was creative enough to catch my attention and wanted to recreate her in my style.
If we see her tender aspect in my design, she is a queen of hearts, whom many love, but as in this life nothing is perfect, she must also have someone out there who does not like her so much, it is impossible to think that she is not like that, even in Disney children's movies, there is always a bad character who hates the happiness of others.
If we see, there is a lot of reality here, for although we may be loved by many people, there is always a hidden enemy who hates our happiness, our successes.
Recently, bored watching my Facebook news feed, I read in an image something like: "you can't be envious and happy at the same time".
The truth is yes, whoever is happy cannot be envious, cannot harbor negative feelings. I am happy to see people happy.
My mother used to say that to wish people ill is to continue in the vicious circle that they keep bothering you, applying her advice, I wish very well in this way, everyone finding their own happiness, stop bothering others.
I am happy drawing, I like to share my happiness, I want to show you how my queen of hearts would look like printed on a shirt:

Saludos amados míos. Espero encontrarlos a todos de buena salud.
Cuando vi este reto automáticamente me vino a la mente la reina de corazones,, aquella caricatura de la infancia de Alicia en el país de las Maravillas, aunque parece una fusión entre ella y un personaje animado de Maléfica.
Pero la autora del reto tuvo mucha creatividad tanto como para llamar mi atención y querer recrearla a mi estilo.
Si vemos su aspecto tierno en mi diseño, es una reina de corazones, a la que muchos aman, pero como en esta vida nada es perfecto, pues también ha de tener a alguien por ahí que no le agrade tanto, es imposible pensar que no sea así, si hasta en las películas infantiles de Disney, siempre hay un personaje malo que detesta la felicidad de otros.
Si vemos, hay mucha realidad aquí, pues aunque puede que nos amen muchas personas, siempre hay un enemigo oculto que detesta nuestra felicidad, nuestros éxitos.
Recientemente, aburrida viendo mi feed de noticias de Facebook, leí en una imagen algo como: "no se puede ser envidioso y feliz al mismo tiempo"
La verdad que si, quien es feliz no puede sentir envidia, no puede albergar sentimientos negativos. Yo soy feliz viendo a las personas felices.
Mi mamá decía que desear mal a las personas es seguir en el círculo vicioso que te sigan molestando, aplicando su consejo, pues deseo muy bien de esta forma cada quien encontrando su felicidad, deja de molestar a los demás.

I loved the color palette she used, very appropriate for a queen, because as we know, blue represents the color of royalty and inspires confidence, seriousness, power, loyalty, harmony, among others, I remember that in my management classes, the teacher advised us when we go to a job interview or to present a project, it is good to wear a blue garment, as it inspires more confidence and professionalism.

Now based on my design, I made the representation of the challenge in my style, my chibi-kawaii version, I hope you like it.

Nos cuenta en su diseño que demoró unas seis horas en realizarlo y curiosamente yo también. Me encanta porque en una publicación aparte colocó parte de su paso a paso y explicó con detalle, realmente fantástico.
Me encantó la paleta de colores que utilizó, muy acorde para una reina, pues como sabemos, el azul representa el color de la realeza además de inspirar confianza, seriedad, poder, lealtad, armonía, entre otros, recuerdo que en mis clases de gerencia, la profesora nos aconsejaba cuando vamos a una entrevista de trabajo o a presentar un proyecto, es bueno tener puesta una prenda de vestir color azul, ya que inspira más confianza y profesionalismo.

Ahora en base a mi diseño, hice la representación del reto en mi estilo, mi versión chibi-kawaii, espero que te guste.

The next step was the color casting, since I apply this procedure without line art, undoubtedly the drawings are neater and more beautiful, at the beginning it was very difficult for me to adapt, now I can tell you that it is a "piece of cake".
He bautizado el diseño como "reina de corazones" no es una rompecorazones, ni tiene el corazón roto, esto me pareció cómico pensarlo.
Bien, les cuento que el primer paso es el boceto, me están saliendo cada vez más fácil y rápido, aunque si, borré algunas líneas que se montaban sobre otras porque después no iba a saber por dónde rellenar.
El siguiente paso fue el vaciado de color, desde que aplico este procedimiento sin line art, sin duda los dibujos quedan más prolijos y más bonitos, al principio me costaba mucho adaptarme, ahora te puedo decir que es "pan comido".

With such a pink skin color, I had my doubts to apply my usual skin shading, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, moved the palette to a darker shade and it was fine.

Los amo, no pierdo la oportunidad, he estado buscando otros pero no encuentro, tal vez tenga que hacer un OC.
El siguiente paso fue la creación de los ojos, bastante sencillos y los lentes, nada complicado ya a estas alturas.
Con mucha práctica todos podemos lograrlo, claro que sí, aunque a mi me ha costado cuatro años y sigo aprendiendo.
Con ese color de piel tan rosado, tuve mis dudas para aplicar mi acostumbrado sombreado de piel, cerré mis ojos, respiré profundo, moví la paleta a un tono más oscuro y quedó bien.

In the first step I apply the stripes in the darkest color with the Pencil brush, then I apply airbrush on the edge of the canvas, then I apply some spray to achieve that painting effect and in another layer the details in lighter lines containing stars, moons and crescent moons. In the gloves also has that detail in spraying, I did not like it very much because it seems that he has dirty gloves, I only respected the use of the brushes of the design of the challenge.
As a curious fact and due to my color blindness, I had not realized that he had horns and a crown, who told me was my son and I had to zoom in to realize it. So I proceeded to make her horns and integrate the crown detail.
A queen can't be without her crown, right?

Fue un verdadero reto los detalles en el vestido.
En el primer paso aplico las rayas en el color más oscuro con el pincel Lápiz, luego aplico aerografía en el borde del lienzo, luego aplico algo de pulverización para lograr ese efecto de pintura y en otra capa los detalles en líneas más claras que contienen estrellas, lunas y media lunas. En los guantes también tiene ese detalle en pulverización, no me gustó mucho pues parece que tiene los guantes sucios, solo respeté el uso de los pinceles del diseño del reto.
Como dato curioso y debido a mi daltonismo, no me había dado cuenta que tenía cuernos y una corona, quien me dijo fue mi hijo y tuve que hacer un acercamiento para darme cuenta. Así que procedí a realizarse sus cuernitos e integrar el detalle de la corona.
¿Una reina no puede estar sin su corona verdad?
