Flowers and hair clips (Esp/Eng)

¡Hola comunidad!
No saben el placer que me dio aprender hacer estas florecitas, mi amigo artesano me esta enseñando algunos trucos y también he estado viendo video tutoriales para aprender a usar las herramientas que se utilizan para la masa flexible y la verdad me impresiona mucho. Me compré unos repujadores, pues los que vienen con el kit de masa flexible o foami moldeable no son de muy buena calidad y espero que con los que compre me ayude a tener mejores acabados.
hice estos dos modelitos de canchos de cabello para niñas, los hice de colores diferentes peor la idea es que el par sea del mismo color y modelo, solo estoy explorando nuevas cosas, técnicas y experimentos que ando haciendo para centrarme en algo específico, me encanto esto de hacer flores para cabello y tambien amo las figuras pequeñas y las worry stones, asi que estaré intercalando para no aburrirme.

Hello, everyone!
You have no idea how much I’ve enjoyed learning to make these little flowers. My artisan friend is teaching me a few tricks, and I’ve also been watching video tutorials to learn how to use the tools for modelling clay – and I must say, I’m really impressed. I bought some embossing tools, as the ones that come with the modelling clay or ‘foami’ kit aren’t very good quality, and I hope the ones I’ve bought will help me achieve a better finish.
I made these two little hair clip designs for girls. I made them in different colours, but the idea is for the pair to be the same colour and design; I’m just exploring new things, techniques and experiments I’m trying out before I focus on something specific. I absolutely love making flowers for hair, and I also love little figurines and worry stones, so I’ll be switching between them to keep things interesting.
I hope you like them; here’s how I made them.

Moldeo una pelotita de foami color amarillo, luego aplano con una tapa.
Uso dos tamaños de molde para cortar con forma de flor. Uso la más grande y presiono sobre la masa, luego retiro los excedentes. repito el procedimiento con el color naranja pero uso el molde más pequeño.

I shape a small ball of yellow foam, then flatten it with a lid.
I use two different sizes of flower-shaped cutters. I use the larger one and press it into the dough, then remove the excess. I repeat the process with the orange foam, but this time I use the smaller cutter.

Uso un repujador que termina en bolita para hacer la forma de la hoja. Coloco la bolita en el centro haciendo división del pétalo de la flor para dos marcas, presiono y doy forma. Repito el procedimiento con la pieza más pequeña pero haciendo una sola marca por pétalo.
Luego uno las dos piezas y realizo una bolita pequeña para pegarla en el centro.

I use a embossing tool with a small ball tip to shape the leaf. I place the ball in the centre, making two indentations per petal, then press down to shape it. I repeat the process with the smaller piece, but making just one indentation per petal.
I then join the two pieces together and make a small ball to attach to the centre.

Repito el paso 1 para crear las otras dos formas de flor, en este caso he usado los colores morado y rosado respectivamente.
Repito el paso dos con la herramienta de moldear para dar forma a la flor haciendo presión en la figura con la bolita de la herramienta al centro de la flor y presionando hacia afuera, la pieza grande lleva dos marcas por pétalo.

I repeat step 1 to create the other two flower shapes; in this case, I have used purple and pink respectively.
I repeat step 2 using the shaping tool to shape the flower by applying pressure to the figure with the tool’s ball at the centre of the flower and pressing outwards; the large piece has two marks per petal.

Una vez moldeadas las dos partes de la flor se unen en el centro con una ligera presión, luego hago una bolita y la pego en el centro de la flor, recomiendo dejar se car al menos una hora para seguir con el proyecto pues así corremos menor riesgo de que se deformen al manipularlas.
Tomo un ganchito para cabello, es un tipo de ganchito caimán muy pequeño, luego pego una florecita en cada ganchito.
Ahora dejamos secar la pieza por al menos 24 horas completamente.

Once the two parts of the flower have been shaped, join them in the centre by applying gentle pressure; then I make a little ball and stick it in the centre of the flower. I recommend leaving it to dry for at least an hour before continuing with the project, as this reduces the risk of them becoming misshapen when handled.
I take a hair clip – a very small alligator clip – and then stick a little flower onto each clip.
Now we leave the piece to dry completely for at least 24 hours.
