Estos últimos tiempos de acontecer mundial, me ha hecho sentirme cada día más agradecida por estar con vida, después de todo lo personal que he vivido, entonces llevo una rutina diaria forzada por los cortes eléctricos, 8 horas perdidas de mi vida que no tienen regreso, 8 horas sin poder producir mi propio sustento, he tomado la determinación de no dejar que esto me siga agobiando, así que decido salir a caminar de nuevo. Fue corta la distancia, me llevé a mi hijo para que no se aburriera en casa y también disfrutara, como recorro casi siempre los mismos caminos, hoy decidí tomar fotos desde ángulos muy curiosos.

Recent global events have made me feel more grateful every day for being alive, especially after everything I’ve been through personally. So, I’ve been stuck in a daily routine dictated by power outages—eight hours of my life lost forever, eight hours without being able to earn a living. I’ve made up my mind not to let this keep getting me down, so I’ve decided to go for a walk again. It was a short walk; I took my son along so he wouldn’t get bored at home and could enjoy himself too. Since I almost always take the same routes, today I decided to take photos from some very unusual angles.

El azul brillante del cielo, con pocas nubes, me hace sentir con esperanza, todo gracias a una noche tranquila sin sismos, como si el planeta también quiso descansar y dormir sin perturbaciones. Una noche de buen descanso.
Las personas caminan por los alrededores, con normalidad, queriendo retomar sus vidas normalmente, tal como yo, solo continuar, levantarse, no dejar que la situación nos supere. Todo es temporal.

The bright blue sky, with just a few clouds, fills me with hope—all thanks to a peaceful night without earthquakes, as if the planet, too, wanted to rest and sleep undisturbed. A night of restful sleep.
People are walking around as usual, wanting to get back to their normal lives, just like me—just to keep going, to get back up, and not let the situation get the better of us. Everything is temporary.

Mi hijo y yo hicimos parada en la Plaza Bolívar de Maracay, lo motivé a que detallara las formas de las luminarias, los tallados que parecen estar hechos a mano, forjados con el metal, con curiosas formas, por ejemplo el león con la aldaba, me recuerda a unas imágenes que vi de la famosa puerta del Diablo en Italia.
Investigando un poco de historia datan del año 1830, es que recuerdo desde niña estaban alli por eso insistí a mi hijo que las apreciara, son piezas artísticas de micha historia, inspiradas en el jardín de Versalles.
¿Qué apreciamos en las luminarias? Arte neoclásico, figuras forjadas como flor de Liz, leones con aldabas, águilas, bustos perfectamente contorneados, que en definitiva llaman la atención.
Es común ver organizaciones masónicas en el lugar, rindiendo homenajes, siempre me pregunté ¿Por qué?, en mi investigación los símbolos grabados y forjados, tienen mucho simbolismo masónico del cual ignoro el significado completamente, pero me es bastante curioso.

My son and I stopped at Plaza Bolívar in Maracay. I encouraged him to take a closer look at the shapes of the streetlights—the carvings that look as if they were handmade, forged from metal, with curious shapes. For example, the lion with the door knocker reminds me of some images I saw of the famous Devil’s Gate in Italy.
After doing a little research, I found out they date back to 1830. I remember them being there since I was a child, which is why I insisted that my son appreciate them—they’re artistic pieces steeped in history, inspired by the gardens of Versailles.
What do we see in the light fixtures? Neoclassical art: wrought-iron figures like the fleur-de-lis, lions with door knockers, eagles, and perfectly contoured busts—all of which definitely catch the eye.
It’s common to see Masonic organizations there paying tribute. I’ve always wondered why. In my research, I found that the engraved and wrought symbols contain a great deal of Masonic symbolism—the meaning of which I’m completely unaware of—but I find it quite intriguing.
