No es si no hasta la década de los años 90’ donde el talento del jugador venezolano empezó a florecer y en otras posiciones, jugadores de fuerza como Andres Galarraga, Magglio Ordonez, Richard Hidalgo, Bob Abreu llevaron esos atributos a otras latitudes llegándose a convertir en jugadores de poder nunca antes visto en Venezuela.
