A few antique pictures, they used at school earlier...
..hi everybody...
..decided to share a few of antique pictures with plants..
..I like these detailed pictures really much..of course they were used at school or similar..although the modern way to show them digitally and maybe 3-dimensional is a lot more realistic and complete, but these old ones are definitely more decorative...
..just for one picture somebody had to draw and work on it a few time..
..there are still ones that are really expensive and collectors are paying a nice handful of dollars...
..as I like art and pictures, I see them as artworks too..and they are..
..hope you like them too..sometimes we should remind that all these great stuff still exists and the goal is to find a way to use both styles, this and the digital..

Oh i love these. Im a big fan of botanical drawings. They can be totally transformed in modern frames too. Thanks for sharing!

@porters here on behalf of @NaturalMedicine - The old botanical pictures are sure beautiful, such detail! I was fortunate to go see the botanical samples for the medical students that were made out of glass at the Harvard Museum of Natural History! They were so life like and true masterpieces!
