Then, I got good news for ya!
One of my colleagues is finishing up PA (physician's assistant) school. He sometimes tells us about his experiences throughout the entire ordeal. One of the most intriguing things he had brought up was learning about how to perform rectal exams.
You might be wondering, why is that interesting? Well, an instructor came in and allowed the class to perform and practice on him for the lecture. So, there he was, in a class with other PA and medical students, practicing a common examination.
Of course, we didn't ask if this was all out in the open or there was some fake walls erected for that purpose. Regardless, this had another coworker interested because it seemed so bizarre. Did this "instructor" do this full time? Was he only a volunteer? What made this person want to offer up his body for science in this fashion?
After some digging, we found a bit more information. I will also paste a screenshot from the link.
They are male urogential teaching associates (MUTA). The female counterpart are gynecological teaching associates (GTA). In short, they allow medical students to perform exams. They give the students feedback about their techniques and their approaches to patients.
How do you become one? Like many medical related roles, you'd need a certification. The good news is, it does not appear you need a degree to qualify for this role.
So, how is the compensation? We did come across a job listing at https://externalcareers-ohsu.icims.com/jobs/8895/male-urological-teaching-associate-%28muta%29/job. Turns out, they are well compensated at $60 an hour.
The downside is that it's not a full-time position. I can't imagine anyone doing that 40 hours a week anyhow. However, most of them take in anywhere from $27K-$55K a year when you search for it on DuckDuckGo. That means most of them work around 8 to 16 hours a week.
How's that for a side hustle? For those of you who might be too shy to have an OnlyFans, this could be an opportunity for you to expose yourself. Whatever your kinks might be, you would be doing a great work. You would be raising up the next generation of medical professionals.
Remember, it isn't a job. It's a lifestyle.

A colleague does this but working as a general physician hired by a GMO health insurance screening for seafarers eligible. Talk, probe, write and report and get paid was the routine and damn lucrative relative to the amount of effort and time. Would enrol for classes just for the side hustle's sake.

I might just do it if was near to me. Hell, I'll be checking for it this weekend.
